Hard Sun.. enough said. I'm never sad about a show ending because you can't help but be happy every time you hear that song... and elbows on the stage doesn't hurt either.
And EV looking you in the eyes doesn't hurt either... after all, your life has meaning now!
And then I went back to the hotel and practiced my calligraphy for several hours...
Seriously!
There was some serious calligraphy going on that night!
This was the greatest show ever!!!!!!! The Ryman has a sound like no other. I believe it was Rick Rosas (bassist for Neil Young) who put it best, "...you can crank out the sound without trying to hard." I hope Ed felt something special and will get the rest of the band excited about playing there in the near future. Also I think it should be noted as to the remarkable job the merchandise crew does. Thank you Ed, 10c, and to all the sound/stage crew. You guys and gals are silent heroes to all of us who believe so deeply in this music and all that it brings.
P.S. To the girl who kept screaming " Eddie I love you" I think he got it the first time.
"..I'm not present, I'm the drug that makes you dream, I'm an aerostar, I'm a cutlass supreme in the wrong lane trying to turn against the flow, I'm the ocean, I'm the giant undertow..."

I took my 11 year daughter to her first real concert.
Because of 10C our seats were 7th row, floor, on the aisle, as you can imagine it was an experieince she will never forget. I know I won't. What an amazing venue. All music should be played in such places. Only Eddie could appreciate the ghosts of the building. I may not enjoy country music but i can appreciate the artists plying their craft there. No need to comment on the show. Ed brought his usual energy and effort.
My two comments are: my daughter wished he played last kiss (you know how kids are) and I WISH I COULD FIND A BOOTLEG OF THIS SHOW!!!!
