  • Ed was wonderful, loved the music, loved the personal connection especially when he was talking about music being a conversation and he was going to converse some more, I think he made a joke about this but I don't remember what it was.

Does anyone else remember what he said before No Ceiling? I thought he said it was his favorite song. If anybody knows, could you please post it? Thanks!!

And do you think all that stuff about searching for "Peter" in the audience was meant to refer to Pete Townsend? I think so! I was hoping for a Who song!

Peter is a disabled kid from Philly, right? I remember the reference from the PJ Philly 03' boot.

Hey, Assuming that is a pic of you, I saw you and was gonna say yo, but I didnt......anyway, I had this dick yelling Betterman next to me...I am sure you heard him.....wanted to punch him...

yup--it's me! I just don't understand why people have to yell out song titles....or start yelling in the middle of songs, but whatever. i also had a guy get up about 5 times during the show--i mean, can't you wait 2 hours for your next cigarette???

someone asked what Ed said before No Ceiling--he said it was someone he knows favorite song...he referred to that on the West Coast, saying Olivia loved it or something...

oh, and the little intro to Throw Your Arms Around Me....very funny!!!
Need a tour Travel Agent??? Pick me :-)

Whatever you are, be a good one --Lincoln

Eddie came on around 8:50, same as Albany 1 and 2

  • An amazing night for my husband and myself. Long story short, friend of a friend bought our extra tickets, ended up getting upgraded to front row center by a 10C worker, and swapped seats with us for the second set. Ed handed me his pick after Forever Young (beautiful and touching dedication to Olivia on her birthday, by the way), and I can now die a happy woman!
Tomorrow can't possibly top tonight with my own personal experience, but I'm still looking forward to it!!!

Some people just have all the luck! ;)
I'm so glad things worked out the way they did for y'all.

Those things alone made it a great show for me. And I actually loved hearing Last Kiss.

great show, great acoustics, 8th row center will make up for a lot of fuck-ups... I didn't pick up any anger from Ed, just some frustration with the sound monitors on stage at the beginning...

while it is unlikely that any of the offenders are reading this: to the douchebags yelling, whistling, cat-calling, and otherwise whooping it up during ARC, you are a parody of yourselves... this is an acoustic experiment with roots in honoring the dead, a concept beyond your sloth-like intellect... an experiment which creates tonal harmonies that happens to be out of your slurred, monotonic key... while I am sure one day you will top your efforts last night and really make the limelight, my only hope is that your moment in the sun is tainted by the fact that you have to talk through an electric larynx...

Ed was definitely not out until after 8:50pm. All over by 10:40pm (a little shorter than west coast if i remember correctly) no special guests : (

and "Winter is like Fuckin Divorce..."
Arc was cool besides all the dumb fucks messing up the Science.

over all it was a pretty good show and just make me wanna get to a full pj show thanks Ed

Hey girl! I'm only here to defend that statement - no I wasn't there, but... hubby and I do smoke. Sometimes it is really hard to wait 2 hours.

I understand it can bother or annoy you when someone else doesn't stay put in their chair...but.... sorry.

We do the same to be quick if possible when we have nic fit.

I remember once EV smoked on the stage and I was going nooot faaaiirrr.... thanks a lot, I'm having a fit now!! ;)

Otherwise, I'm glad you all had a great time - regardless of a few bumps. ;)

What an unbelieveable show !! As someone who is old enough , scratch old, experienced enough to have seen acts ranging from Ziggy Stardust live , Bruce's epic Born To Run '75 shows , The Band , Dido , Sinead O'Connor, and Chris Rock in that venue , I'd dispute the talk of poor accoustics . Not The Academy of Music , but not crappy either.

    Parking...$ 2

One of every kind of merch for guys , plus wallet (buy a wallet , get the guitar pick that comes with it) ...$230.00

Shaking hands with Ed at approx. 1230 and saying thanks to someone whose written so much music that matters , outside at bus near the Waterford , .... PRICELESS

Other musings : Crowd around me in Right Center Orchestra OO very cool. Great seats. Thanks 10C !! Not alot of yellers out tonight. Well, not compared to the shows ( 2 x Vancouver, 2 x D.C.) I saw last year. A few hiccups with songs , but even the crowd missed on " Last Kiss" sing - a- long when trying to bail Ed out . "Atlantic City" was amazing. AC gave me Goosebumps, as did "ARC" and "Forever Young" . Hope Ed goes with "Philadelphia " for a Bruce cover tonight. Loved the banter about " Spring is for foreplay , Summer is for fucking , fall is for marriage, and winter is for either more fucking or fucking divorce ...because there's not enough fucking. Divorce due to irreconcilable differences or irreconcilable fucking , Ed said.

I closed the waterford down last night...unless he was there after 2AM he did not come into the bar.

I do think some people waited in line to shake his hand outside of the waterford...not sure though

Waited outside the Waterford in the rain...got to briefly speak to Ed and shake hands. He didn't go into the Waterford, got onto the bus and left.
Was so happy to meet him! Show was great, shorter than usual - got to see a great setlist of songs I have never heard live. My ticketmaster seats tonight are better than my 10c seats were last night. I had row ss. Was hoping for something closer only because I have a higher number and this was a chance to be close. But hey, still great seats and felt fortunate just to be there!!! Crowd was pretty good - balcony was a little rowdy. His reference to the spectrum pretty much confirmed for me that it's gonna happen! Someone asked him outside and he smiled and said "I can't say" - I hope he says it tonight!!!

Didn't even think I was going to this show until about 2 hours before! I can't think of a better way to spend an evening after a 10 hour drive. Great show, except the moron behind me who said arc sounded like boyz II men.

    Looking forward to tonight!!!

It was not PT, but another Peter, the Peter who Ed sang to for the tag in 2003 at the Spectrum at the end of Betterman. Peter is now 18 and has grown a lot and was there to see Ed last night. A great night for everyone...
