yeah I guess it wouldnt be the venue then. It seemed he was frustrated with quite a few things though, and that was a common denominator I could think of (I dont hail from Philly/have much knowledge of the Tower.)
was it my imagination? Did anyone else sense some frustration on Eddie's part?
Dont get me wrong though. The show was an incredible treat, and I would experience it again at the same price 50 times over again.
Ill never get sick of 'I Am Mine' and 'Man of the Hour' in that setting.0 -
yostarama wrote:Great show. Great seats row DD center Thanks 10c. Got the pick Ed threw into the crowd after Hard Sun. First pick ever. I wanna see the whole band @ the Tower. That would melt your face.
You have to read my take, bro'. Great find. I swear that pic was coming my way. My account's on the first page. Nice grab!0 -
interesting show....I thought the crowd was a little weird....a guy a few rows behind me started yelling UNDONE and i wanted to punch him, but aside from that, people we quiet and just chillin'. Atlantic City was awesome to hear :-) Eddie definitely butchered a few songs, but seemed to be having fun anyway...much shorter show too, by the way!Need a tour Travel Agent??? Pick me :-)

Sharon_Hearts_PJ wrote:An amazing night for my husband and myself. Long story short, friend of a friend bought our extra tickets, ended up getting upgraded to front row center by a 10C worker, and swapped seats with us for the second set. Ed handed me his pick after Forever Young (beautiful and touching dedication to Olivia on her birthday, by the way), and I can now die a happy woman!
Tomorrow can't possibly top tonight with my own personal experience, but I'm still looking forward to it!!!
Really great to hear that!- Busted down the pretext

And I have concluded that people who point at the stage in a bouncing manner are total strap-ons...TOOLS, if you will...0

Sorry to hear that! There's always that element unfortunately, but the rows around me were great, and I was scared the crowd would be SCREAMING at Ed the whole show, which didn't happen."They said ... timing was everything
made him ... want to be everywhere
there's a ... lot to be said for nowhere."0 -
Ed was wonderful, loved the music, loved the personal connection especially when he was talking about music being a conversation and he was going to converse some more, I think he made a joke about this but I don't remember what it was.
Does anyone else remember what he said before No Ceiling? I thought he said it was his favorite song. If anybody knows, could you please post it? Thanks!!
And do you think all that stuff about searching for "Peter" in the audience was meant to refer to Pete Townsend? I think so! I was hoping for a Who song!0 -
Peter is a disabled kid from Philly, right? I remember the reference from the PJ Philly 03' boot.0

flyinwhole313 wrote:Hey, Assuming that is a pic of you, I saw you and was gonna say yo, but I didnt......anyway, I had this dick yelling Betterman next to me...I am sure you heard him.....wanted to punch him...
yup--it's me! I just don't understand why people have to yell out song titles....or start yelling in the middle of songs, but whatever. i also had a guy get up about 5 times during the show--i mean, can't you wait 2 hours for your next cigarette???
someone asked what Ed said before No Ceiling--he said it was someone he knows favorite song...he referred to that on the West Coast, saying Olivia loved it or something...
oh, and the little intro to Throw Your Arms Around Me....very funny!!!Need a tour Travel Agent??? Pick me :-)

Eddie came on around 8:50, same as Albany 1 and 2"They said ... timing was everything

Those things alone made it a great show for me. And I actually loved hearing Last Kiss."They said ... timing was everything
made him ... want to be everywhere
there's a ... lot to be said for nowhere."0
