Rules for Eddie shows...

I'm thinking about rules for code of conduct at the Eddie shows.I have read a lot of stuff on boards lately and wondered if this came up yet. I remember last year all the yellin out "Eddie" and the 300 pound idiot being dragged out by security. Do we need to have rules this go around? :?:
#1. Please don't drink SO much beer you have to pee every 10 minutes.

That's usually the rule for theater plays and such.

Social awareness does not equal political activism!
5/23/2011- An utter embarrassment... ticketing failures too many to list.
Fuck that. This aint a play. Its a concert... Im sure Ed would be drinkin his ass off...
What difference does it make? You can't enforce them and the people most likely to violate them aren't going to read your lame message board rules anyway. What is this, a golf outing? Dress up, wear your sweater tied around your neck, and you may only clap politely when the message pit den mother holds up the ok sign... not a peep otherwise?
God this band's fans have become lame. The grunge bandwagoners of yesterday are now the upper class yuppies of today.
It's not really a rock concert though. People aren't allowed to drink during orchestra performances either, which are also concerts.

time tells us this is true, but u cant act like u didnt see it coming, i guess its because we are the ones with the brains,
I wouldnt know as I wouldnt ever go to an orchestra "concert"... Unless I could booze my ass off and completely blackout so I wouldnt remember I actually went to an orchestra "concert"...
thats how it was at NJPAC and it did not make a bit of a difference
just be quiet when he is playing or talking
as I did not pay to hear you
thank you very much
edit:
and please respect Ed's request
keep the phones in your pocket
thank you very much
That is why I asked if we needed rules. It will only be a matter of time (after tonights show) when there are all the compliants of people yelling "cubbies" in the middle of Eddie telling a story.
As I recall at the DC shows- it was almost too quiet at times and a LITTLE participation would have been nice.
Nice quip about the Den mother though
thats how they did it for damien rice. i was hammered and unbothered by people walkin around

i'm not an upper class yuppie.
But i am somebody who knows how to respect a musician during a fucking concert by not screaming for attention that mommy and daddy didn't give me when i was in my diaper.

Thank God for 20oz SOLO cups!
i don't know about you all but i think that is fucking hilarious!
Fuckin' eh!
...i know you paid a lot to see ed solo and its a great experience, especially if people were quieter... we all paid a lot, so whether you wanna be sober and quiet, or blitz and loud well its your money...its rock and roll baby!
Well, tonight we will read fan views about another drunken 300 pound idiot who wouldn't shut up. Yes it's his right to yell all he wants, but I like to think we can show a little curtsey. I recall Ed getting pissed off at all the yelling.
Drink your ass off. I will. But,control yourself and your bodily fluids is all I'm saying!

Its not a matter of being a yuppy, its a matter of knowing how to act in a specific setting. This isn't an arena rock show; it's an intimate acoustic gig.
yeah, and i already know philly is gonna be rough... buncha drunken hooligans....people forget that its just an ed show, and not full fledged pj... although to be honest if it wasnt for one of those screaming idiots, we would never have gotten the "yellow ledbetter" story from newark...
