ARMS ALOFT IN ABERDEEN
I'd just like to thank Pearl Jam for turning me onto the original of the recent live cover they've been doing over here in Europe. I absolutely loved the performance of the tune at Hyde Park. Although I used to dip into The Clash once in awhile, I'd never properly listened to Strummer & The Mescaleros. On the strength of…

Anyone willing to share the official bonus CD files? I'll trade you some PJ shows for it. The AUD recording is already out there, not looking for that one.

Wow, seriously, no Hamilton convos here?
Just got back from seeing Hamilton for the 2nd time, we had an even better cast than previously, that show really is a work of genius. And I'm neither a big history buff nor a musicals buff, but I sure do know a lot more about the American Revolution and the early days of our government now! And am more passionate about…

Tash Sultana

She plays 12 instruments and is the sole executive producer, composer, author, musician, etc. . . some of the best music I've heard recently and one of the most amazing female guitarists I've ever heard. The album is brilliant. Check out the video…

What if...? (new game just for fun)
Saw a post like this on FB and thought it may be fun here :) Let's see if we can keep it going... What if Jeremy hadn't spoken in class today? What if thoughts didn't arrive like butterflies? What if he did know, and didn't chase them away? What if he didn't begin his life again? What if I hadn't spent most of my life…

Billy Joel Outs U2 For Using A Secret Backing Band
I don't know how much validity there is to this, but I thought it was funny at least. It is just his word against theirs, and with Billy you never know, he could have been drunk. Also I don't see why they would have a band under the stage as opposed to a backing track or something. But for what it's worth here's the story.…

Alice In Chains Pop Up
Kind of a long shot-but I was curious if anyone was going to the AIC pop up at the crocodile? And if so if they would pick me up a green New era hat? I would gladly buy you one as well. I’m even willing to throw in a 2018 Wrigley Ames Bros SE to sweeten the deal. Thanks!

Middle Brother, the Nirvana + Meat Puppets collab that never was
Just listening to Nirvana Unplugged this morning and those MP covers man, god so good. Made me think if Kurt had lived what a proper Nirvana + Meat Puppets collaboration would have been like. Then I got to thinking, Middle Brother has a pretty close vibe to it in my opinion. What do you all think?

Buffy Sainte-Marie
A Canadian artist with an incredibly powerful presence. She'd be one hell of an opening act for Pearl Jam - I think they and her would get along like rats. I'll post a few top tracks to make surfing easy. https://youtu.be/GzG_4e8yGew

Greatest Beach Boys song??
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gcw1lfANmrc&app=desktop I’ll pick Surf’s Up. An ironic title to show how Brian Wilson’s life had changed compared to his earlier fun tunes. What a beautiful haunting tune. Take the 3 minutes and listen to the guy who blew Lennon and McCartney’s minds so much that they wrote Sgt Pepper to try…

Amanda Shires
So, Amanda Shires released a new album called To The Sunset last week. It’s fantastic. One of my favorite releases of the year. Great songwriting. Great production. Great guitar playing from some hack who I guess is actually her husband. Whoever that is. Poor guy. He’s forever going to be known at Amanda Shires’ husband.
