We are excited to announce that Ten Club will be unveiling the new pearljam.com website in early June 2012.

It’s been a long road, but we’ve finally arrived thanks to the creative input from the band, a stellar team of site developers new and old, the band’s archivist and recording engineers, and Ten Club member feedback.

Your favorite Pearl Jam website features will remain, including:
- Forums
- Streaming Pearl Jam radio
- Members only merchandise

A bunch of new advanced features have been added, including:
- Enhanced discography
- Enhanced show archive, including memorabilia from the show
- Expanded live photo slide shows, including some never seen before
- Guest check-out in the store section of the site
- Simpler store design and navigation
- Select bootleg revival
- Informative and interactive activism pages

New members-only features have also been added, including:
- Easier to navigate site and member management settings
- Automatic membership renewals
- Member-to-member live chat

In order to prep the new site, pearljam.com will be taken offline from Sunday, June 3rd until the site launch scheduled within a week. Our team is working hard to make the transition as smooth as possible. However, with any new site launch there can be some unexpected growing pains. Your patience is appreciated in advance.

To expedite getting answers to your questions about the new site, we’ve set up a page called Answers to Frequently Asked Questions, which we will update continually. You can find that page at the following link: http://www.pearljam.com/faq
If you don’t see an answer to your question there, please email info@tenclub.net

As always, we want your feedback. Once the new site goes live in early June let us know what you think and what we can improve by filling out this feedback form https://pjguest.wufoo.com/forms/z7p9z7/

In the meantime, here’s a sneak peek behind-the-curtains to give you a feel for things to come...

Was hoping they would get rid of the terrible logo.

  • This is great news. After the pj20 meltdown I remembered 10c saying they were going to create a new "state of the art" site. I thought they may have just forgot they said that or put on the back burner. Glad to see it really came to fruitation. Thanks 10c for following through. Automatic renewal = awesome!!!!!!

Q: I read that one of the new features will be “Select Bootleg Revival”. What does that mean?

A: Our own Pearl Jam sound engineer is digging into the archive and pulling out some old bootlegs that have either been discontinued or were never released. We never quite know which recordings will surface so it’s quite an exciting time. We’ll be posting them for sale in the online store, one-by-one as we receive them.

  • This sounds great. Looking forward to seeing what bootlegs they will be offering. I hope the site can handle heavy loads, like ticket sale days, without any problems.

Not happy about the fact that we have to keep our credit card number on file. I don't like doing that at all. I don't trust the security of this site and whenever I'm asked to store card info on sites, I always decline.
  • Does anyone know exactly what the slash through pearl jam is significant to yet? It looks like they are sticking with that header.

Good Lord, I hope the launch is quick and without issue. The new site better come with free counseling if this site is down for more than a few days during the week. We won't know what to do with ourselves while its down....Most of will actually have to get work done if there is no forum for a few days LOL!!

I also volunteer, free of charge to provide the 10c my QA services and test for bugs and quirks before we go live. It would be an honor to help!
