PJ20 On DirecTv and more!

Everyone who has DirecTv (and maybe other providers, I have no idea) know that you can get PJ20 Movie for $6 for 24 hours starting Saturday the 24th. Right?

I know for some it's not the same as the theater. That's cool. But, I've seen numerous threads asking about the weeklong run. Well, here's one place that does not discriminate by location. You get DirecTv, you get PJ20 in 1080p for half the price of a theater ticket.

Can't wait to watch, beer in hand, chips in bowl with as many friends and family as I choose.

(And the DVR works, too ;) ).

    Not sure. Quite frankly, I found this by accident trying to see if the PBS one was up on the calendar to set for recording. And, when I put in Pearl Jam 20, up popped channel 188 CineTV with showings every 2 hours starting 6 AM on Sat. 9/24. If you buy it, you get if for the continuous loop for 24 hours.

    I have no idea if other cable systems carry it. I guess check the guide, and see if it's there.

    Just so I am clear....

    If one is unable to make it to a screening, the other chances to see PJ20 are:

    1. DirecTV (and possibly other TV providers)
    2. PBS in October
    3. The DVD that should go on sale sometime (although it is not available for pre-order yet on Amazon).

    Do I have that correct?

    I just did a search on AT&T U-Verse and nada. Although, there are some shows next week with Pearl Jam in it. Hard Rock Calling 2010 and some Woodstock show. So I got those ready to DVR :lol:

    It appears the answer is yes, but it does not give dates. On line it just says coming soon under the video on demand section.
