  • Yeah I mean no offense, but do you guys really think DirecTV hadn't thought of this? There's no way you can just DVR it and keep it forever when it's PPV. It directly contradicts what PPV means.

Yeah, you can't record Pay Per View. It stays in your que for 24 hours. Once it is on PBS you can record it and that will be the 720p or 1080i version. The pay per view is 1080p(blu-ray quality). At least on DirecTV.

I called Directv about DVR'ing this and how it worked if I watched it beyond the 24 hours... I was told I would be charged for the movie again. Although, I would not mind at all if you proved me wrong. :D

Ok. I have not tried watching it again, so that may be what happens. Oh, well. I'll just make sure not to watch it on my other DVRs. Anyone want to buy a Directv DVR with an unwatched recording of Pearl Jam 20?
Sorry. The world doesn't work the way you tell it to.

You can't record it with a DVR. However, you can record it with a DVD recorder or with a VCR.
I gather speed from you fucking with me.
  • Fios has it On Demand now. Any idea for how long? Can't get an answer out of Verizon on how long they will have it. Anyone know?

    Thanks!!1
