***UPDATE 1/20/13...After seeing this thread, Angelo was extremely touched and insisted on donating two prints to the prizes. Since no one has specified yet what prizes they wanted entered into, and the prints Angelo is donating are bigger ticket items, I'm going to add them into the first set or tier of prizes. Also, Angelo pointed out that at one time he did actually own two sets of Benny's (I incorrectly said in my original post that he used to own every PJ vinyl except a Benny), one sealed and one to spin, but like he is currently doing, he sold them back in 09 to help with the expenses of having to have both of his knees totally replaced at the same time. The dude has just had a real tough go with his health over the years***

***UPDATE TO RAFFLE FORMAT 2/6/13...I'm updating the raffle format for two reasons:
1). Out of all of the donations received so far, no one has donated less than $5. I feel as though this thread takes a lot of reading regarding the rules of donating $1 to $4 and how to specify what prizes you want entered in for and no one is even donating less than $5, so it's a mute point so far.
2). With the raffle deadline approaching on 2/14, I'd like to make one strong final push towards getting as many donations as possible. I feel as though the length of the thread, again in terms of the rules for donating $1 to $4 and how to specify what prizes you want entered into could play a factor in people not wanting to read all the detail and in turn not participating. Again, no one has donated under the $5 amount and I have not heard that anyone is interested in doing so.***
Over the past couple of weeks I've been lucky enough to get to know a Ten Club and forum member who is a little down on his luck and dealing with some serious health issues. This individual in now 40 years old and has dealt with health issues almost all of his life, starting with spinal meningitis at the age of 15. Most recently, he has developed a large tumor in his chest that needs surgically removed.
Because this individual has no idea I am posting this and sharing information about his health, I'm not going to reveal his username. His name is Angelo though, and I got to know Angelo through the purchase of his Avocado vinyl a couple weeks ago. Since he needs surgery to remove the tumor, he needs cash, and because of that has been selling off all of his PJ vinyl, which was from what I understand, was every vinyl prior to him deciding to sell it all for money to go towards the surgery. Now he owns none of the PJ vinyl he once enjoyed so much.
This made me realize that I've seen so many people on this forum go through a lot and get rid of a lot to land a Holy Grail, or maybe a sought after item and Angelo is forced to sell his prized possessions just so that he can hopefully enjoy his health. Most of us have never had to have that cross our mind, and may even take our health for granted. This really hit me hard, and once I got to see how cool of a dude Angelo was after communicating numerous times and getting to know him, I knew I had to do something for him even if it was something small.
So I looked through my PJ items and selected some to raffle off and give the raised money to Angelo for his surgery.

*Update - This is actually a show poster. I am a bit of a poster noob and pretty much just started collecting after Alpine Valley. So every poster I had ever seen was on the same white silk screen paper matte. So when I got this Cleveland 06 poster and it was on black thicker matte paper, I thought it wasn't an original show poster. Since then I seeked out a signed and numbered copy and when I got it, it was the same exact paper as this one, just signed and numbered. So I apologize to the person I got this from originally on the forum. Gotta seriously look him up and apologize, ha. I PM'd him after I got it saying it wasn't a regular show poster. He must have either thought I knew what I was talking about or a complete moron, turns out to be the latter, ha. Anyways, this is an original show poster, unlike I originally posted about this print when creating this thread. Better prize than I thought.
