Just wanted to thank you all for all the kick ass support and for rbrum7 for coordinating this whole awesome idea to help me out in these shitty times. A huge thank you to all who have donated items items and also to all who have thrown in the cash for a chance to win some geat PJ stuff. This really is the most amazing thing anyone has ever done for me and it still brings me to tears every time I read this thread over. I love how awesome this community is and all the support from around the globe is inspiring. Thanks again to everyone involved and hope we'll have a chance to meet up this fall. I am truly blown away by how much love this community has for each other and karma truly works wonders and will reward those whose time it is. Congrats to Ryan for running all this thing. My best wishes to you Angelo for a fully recovery. Congrats Ryan on being a 'stand-up dude' willing to put yourself out for others. I'm pretty sure i've never met any of you (being in Australia) but just felt so compelled to help out. Sometimes it's only money, but what it can do for someone elses spirits and well-being makes it so much more.

Just woke up on the couch and saw this. You're not too late, I have you in the raffle! To be honest, I would still accept donations and enter people in the drawing all the way up until I pull the random numbers, which will hopefully be Friday night if I'm not too exhausted after work, falling asleep on the couch doesn't help much, but that's what I'm aiming for, ha.

It's just one of those things where all good, make that all great things must come to and end. And if I didn't put some kind of deadline on it, the people who wait till the last minute (like myself ) wouldn't have any driving force to follow through.

Again, if anyone else sees this and feels like donating. I'll accept up until I pull names. I'll put a "closed" post up once its officially locked up.

Over the past few weeks Angelo and I have kept in touch through texts and I'm happy to say I've made a life long friend. Let me assure you that when he says he loves and wants to meet each and every one of you to show his appreciation, he isn't blowing smoke up your ass, he really means it. He would give any of you the shirt off his back.

I feel so blessed to have experienced and witnessed all the positive actions that have come out of this. My heart is truly warmed by everyone's generosity.

I know Wrigley is 5 months out and by then the excitement about this thread will have worn down, but I want everyone who is making the trip to Chicago that was a part of this to meet up, enjoy each others company and keep some of these good vibes flowing. I'd either like to do it the night before the show or early the afternoon of the show. I know a great pizza place with quality brews that would be perfect, so anyone who is down, please reach out and let me know and I'll organize it. My wife and I are making the trip. Her brother is a doctor at the University of Chicago and me, my wife and our beautiful 4 month old will be staying at his place for a few nights and the night of the show. I wish I could offer you all a place to crash, but unfortunately me, the wife and kid will already be occupying all the free space in their apartment.

Now, for the most important part of all for my little Chicago plan, lets make sure we get Angelo there and get him a ticket. I still want to meet all of you, but it just wouldn't be complete without him there to enjoy it and meet all you wonderful peeps as well!
