I rejoined a few months ago and I have 688***. I originally joined in the 90s, but let it go at some point. So there is a doormant number out there under my name. I wish I could just pay the back yearly dues and get it back.

While that would piss a ton of people off, they’d make a ton of money doing that. I could be wrong (first time for everything) but I believe in the late 90s they allowed you to let it laps then reclaim it later. Ive always assumed not allowing that anymore was to motivate people to keep it active, and make a ton of money just off membership fees. I’m sure they each make way more in membership fees alone than my entire full-time salary.
