that doesn't mean they are playing for 4 hours... at 15,000 feet above sea level I would expect a 3 hour set, 8-11, which is amazing enough
elevation of telluride is 8750 ft the highest i've been is pike's peak 14,000 ft.
Ya I think people are over exaggerating the elevation issue. Keep in mind athletes fly into denver every single day and play a game for 3 hours mostly without issue. I realize telluride is a little higher but to say pj can't play a 3 hour show is a little over the top.

100% agree
Depends if Eddie is smoking or not.
I live at 5,000 ft elevation and can tell you I've been to many concerts where something along the lines of "Wow, it's high here/let me catch my breath" is said from the stage. Brian Setzer actually passed out on stage at a show a few years ago.
I think they will play a 3 hour show. To say they are playing from 7-11 is a bit of an exaggeration I think. They did 3:20 in Denver last time, which was one of the longest shows of the LB long-show era (San Diego 13 might have beat it).

like i mentioned a few posts above, telluride is now red rocks for me the fact that they are going back to colorado after just doing denver not long ago is a surprise dream come true. denver is one hellofa great state to visit. garden of the gods...hello! i've been to both places to see shows. telluride isn't all that bad
Have to agree with you too... Once I saw photos/video of past Ride Fests, it was "WOW I have to go." Then the 3 hour show info hit... signed up to volunteer and get a ticket!
I was told they have a 4 hour slot... 7-11

Elevation is just under 9000 feet. They seemed to have no problem playing 4 hours at 5280 so I'm hoping for over 3 hrs

I'm not placing a lot of stock in it one way or another, but Bogota would be a more comparable elevation. From on stage to offstage was 2 hrs and 40 minutes or so. Ed did sound a little gassed. How ridiculous are we? Hahaha
