Amazing how grieving together can bring such comfort.

And how a stranger can have impacted so many lives.

    PS - fuck cancer.

    That gave me goose bumps.

I'm just remembering all the songs I loved and how different they were: Rebel Rebel, Ziggy Stardust, Changes. His performance of Heroes at the Concert for New York City.

Those who have Netflix and haven't seen it yet, like me, Basquiat is on with him as Andy Warhol.. Watching it right now. It's even gonna be on Amazon soon with a Showtime add on subscription.

Sunday, while listening his last disc, I was thinking than the man could still surprise. His last surprise was yesterday.
    Adieu Bowie.

why? people are paying tribute to a musical icon. show some respect.
It is hard to take anything seriously when you have a wrassler dressed as music icon.
Look, I have no doubt this bowie guy made good music during his time but that doesn't mean the PJ forum should be subdued because of his demise.
    PJ is eroding.
If you don't like it then stay away from this thread.
No need to act like a dick.
The fact you said "this Bowie guy" just shows you are trolling.

A unique sound has been silenced, a bright star has faded... R.I.P. David Bowie and thank you all your art.

I'm glad to have seen you live twice, you were amazing.

Well he has been cremated without any family or friends present, so much for Westboro's plans.

It's really sad to think David Bowie is no longer alive..breathing with us.
I personally never saw him 'live', alhough I really enjoyed watching him and listening to his music.
My roommate was a big David Bowie fan and use to visit his website..some of the collaboration stuff, art work and the chat that he would sometimes do with fans..
She has been taking it pretty hard. What a brilliant artist he was. Thank goodness that his music will live on.~

It's not an issue with Bowie per say, they just like to pick events(pretty much always funerals) to protest to force people to hear their views. They have done it to military, icons, even once a small child who died tragically. They are just assholes of the highest order and say they are doing it in the name of God.
