Benghazi Findings

http://www.sfgate.com/politics/article/House-panel-No-administration-wrongdoing-in-5663509.php

I can't tell you how many of my facebook "friends" I want to slap upside the head with this announcement. All of the misinformation that was being spewed out can finally be put to rest....or can it?
-- Intelligence agencies were "warned about an increased threat environment, but did not have specific tactical warning of an attack before it happened."

-- "A mixed group of individuals, including those associated with al Qaeda, (Moammar) Khadafy loyalists and other Libyan militias, participated in the attack."

-- "There was no 'stand-down order' given to American personnel attempting to offer assistance that evening, no illegal activity or illegal arms transfers occurring by U.S. personnel in Benghazi, and no American was left behind."

-- The administration's process for developing "talking points" was "flawed, but the talking points reflected the conflicting intelligence assessments in the days immediately following the crisis."

    what findings?
it was a cia op that worked with militias/jihadist/terrorists to destabilize Libya, freeze billions of dollars of assets, execute Gaddafi, and use Libya as a rear base in the drive for regime change in Syria.
When U.S. personnel were airlifted from Benghazi the night of the attack, there were seven Foreign Service and State Department officers and 23 CIA officers onboard. This fact alone indicates that the consulate was primarily diplomatic cover for an intelligence operation that was known to Libyan militia groups.

Yeah I don't disagree there...a lot of people refer to it as our "embassy" that was attacked but it was a glorified CIA safe house. Regardless, all of the BS talking points that the GOP tried to get us to believe were horseshit.

Embassies have long been covers for covert activity and intelligence gathering. This is not new and should not be surprising. Nor is it exclusive to the U.S.

Yeahhhhh, good luck with enforcing that.It just gets renamed a "safe house".And people getting interrogated aren't going to be prisoners they become confidential informants.See all nice and legal like.
Politicians should stay out of our black book operations and leave that to the wizards behind the curtain. It is a necessary evil.

    nothing.

but it is an old thread that needed to be bumped, kind of like the barack hussein obama one.

obama was not responsible for benghazi.

the people that attacked it were responsible for benghazi.

never, ever forget that it was the republican congress who cut the funding for embassy security. not the president.

if trump were in charge at the time of the attacks he would have said "i tried to build a wall but the libyans wouldn't pay for it...."

Not suggesting Obama was responsible since I believe in that whole "innocent until proven guilty" thing. Just pointing out the double standard of those who accuse him.

So the 3 Military guys that quit their jobs and are exposing Benghazi for what is was are liars?? What would they have to gain from quitting the military to expose the truth...do people really hate the GOP that much to come up with these conspiracy theories and why isn't it done by people with the Democraps?

Like how your party rewrites history to make Raygun, Dubya, Cheney, Trump and Bundy look good because GOP white privilege double standards? What part of "never, ever forget that it was the republican congress who cut the funding for embassy security. not the president." do you not understand? Just because you lie over and over again doesn't make you right. Facts are facts, no matter what side screws up.

Even the families of the victims are furious at the GOP for their fake outrage just to score themselves "Do as we war criminals say, not as well do" points. If Dubya and Cheney did this, you wouldn't give a fuck and you better know it.

they quit their military jobs so they can make more money writing books and giving speeches. or they can go to fox news and make a lot of money spewing half truths and lies. fox pays good money for that.

your party cut the budget for embassy security. we got attacked. now your party blames the president for not providing enough embassy security.

the house holds the purse strings. the house pulled funding. the house was and is under gop control. they need to take a look in the mirror and point a finger at the mirror.

Always good to keep in mind our views on life are probably 95% the same. Just bit different on some political social stuff. Add common want to debate and express frustrations probably gets us closer to 99%. :)

Cons are usually fiscally conservative but on the wrong things while liberally spending on military. I have issues with Rand Paul but he flat out owned Rubio in the debates when he called him out for military spending. Hell, I'd vote for him, Fiorina and Kasich over DINO Hillary if forced at gunpoint. Regardless of party, those three are lesser evils than the Monsanto shrew.

The fox viewing public will take it as the unvarnished truth as will the right wing echo chamber all in an effort to destroy Hillary. Which, if successful, at this point, leaves us with Trump. Jeb! Our lonely eyes turn to you.

Im going to guess that 99.9% of the foxnews viewers could not find Benghazi on a map if you held their hand and pointed to it.

    Or Baltimore for that matter
