The big issue isn't really the investigation,it's the inconsistency of reports from ALL the spec ops guys who were in the battle compared to what the Station Chief and politicians say.Either all the guys are lying or some politicians are.I know who I believe.

Evidently Ted Nugent has seen Michael Bay’s “13 Hours” film about the terrorist attack on the U.S. Embassy in Libya.  The rocker posted a message on his Facebook page saying President Obama and former Secretary of State / current Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton “should be tried for treason & hung."

Never one to hold back his opinions, Nugent has expressed his dislike for Obama and Clinton many times through the years.  Even before the 2008 election, while performing at the Feather Falls Casino & Lodge in Oroville, Calif., in 2007, the guitarist/NRA board member held up two rifles and told his audience, “I was in Chicago, I said, ‘Hey Obama, you might want to suck on one of these, you punk.’” 

Not content at aiming his anger at the then-freshman senator from Illinois, Nugent also expressed a few thoughts about Clinton, saying, “Hey Hillary, you might want to ride one of these into the sunset, you worthless bitch.”

Nine years later and the Gonzo Rocker still has a few issues with Obama and Clinton. From Nugent’s Facebook page:

“Our unholy rotten soulless criminal America destroying government killed 4 Americans in Banghazi. Period! What sort of chimpass punk would deny security, turn down 61 requests for security, then tell US forces to STAND DOWN when they were ready to kickass on the allapukes & save American lives! Obama & Clinton, thats who. They should be tried for treason & hung. Our entire fkdup gvt must be cleansed asap.”

Nugent apparently knows more than the several Republican-led congressional committees that failed to place any blame on Clinton for the tragic events in Benghazi.  Note that he said “tried for treason & hung” rather than “tried for treason and, if found guilty, then hanged.” Maybe he skipped high school civics on the day that lesson was taught.

Yeah it's ridiculous. The GOP just wants to keep it in the news...that's why every few days there's a new article about another classified email. There is nothing there.

they grilled her for 11 hours and she made them look like amateurs. they had their witch hunt. they damaged her in the polls. bernie is gaining on her. they think bernie getting the nomination is a sure with for the gop. this has been a well played long game. they were not looking to nail her for anything specific. just looking to damage her. wouldn't they have found something by now?

The Democrats' 339-page report makes 21 findings it says "debunks many conspiracy theories about the attacks." Some of the findings have been shared in previous reports, such as the conclusion that "the State Department’s security measures in Benghazi were woefully inadequate," as this report puts it, and that the Defense Department could not have done anything differently that night to save lives.

It also seeks to counter an argument often made by Republicans: that the Obama administration lied about the attackers' motivations, blaming an anti-Muslim video for a inspiring a spontaneous attack, rather than concluding it was a coordinated action by terrorist militants.

"Administration officials did not make intentionally misleading statements about the attacks, but instead relied on information they were provided at the time under fast-moving circumstances," the report reads.

The report quotes March testimony from Gen. David Petraeus, who was the CIA director at the time of the attack.

"I’m still not absolutely certain what absolutely took place, whether it was a mix of people that are demonstrating with attackers in there, whether this is an organized demonstration to launch an attack, whether ... there was a protest and it grew out of the protest," Petraeus told the committee.

Petraeus said the video of the attack also makes it unclear if there were protesters mixed in with attackers.

Democrats' report also concludes that the committee found no evidence that Clinton personally denied any security requests from personnel in Benghazi.

The report also includes a 45-page indictment of Republicans' management of the committee and investigation, and claims the majority wasted time and resources for political purposes, while excluding Democrats from several witness meetings and interviews.

Aides to Gowdy and the majority staff did not immediately respond to ABC News' request for comment.

Republicans have also leveled criticism at Democrats throughout the process, and have accused them of coordinating with Clinton's campaign and refusing to help press the administration to fulfill document requests.

Ending one of the longest, costliest and most bitterly partisan congressional investigations in history, the House Select Committee on Benghazi issued its final report on Tuesday, finding no new evidence of culpability or wrongdoing by Hillary Clinton in the 2012 attacks in Libya that left four Americans dead.

The 800-page report, however, included some new details about the night of the attacks, and the context in which it occurred, and it delivered a broad rebuke of government agencies like the Defense Department, the Central Intelligence Agency and the State Department — and the officials who led them — for failing to grasp the acute security risks in the Libyan city, and especially for maintaining outposts in Benghazi that they could not protect.

The committee, led by Representative Trey Gowdy, Republican of South Carolina, also harshly criticized an internal State Department investigation that it said had allowed officials like Mrs. Clinton, then the secretary of state, to effectively choose who would investigate their actions. In addition, it reiterated Republicans’ complaints that the Obama administration had sought to thwart the investigation by withholding witnesses and evidence.

The report, however, did not dispute that United States military forces stationed in Europe could not have reached Benghazi in time to rescue the personnel who died — a central finding of previous inquiries.

Trey Gowdy is an idiot

to be fair, i saw an episode of forensic files from the early 2000s and gowdy was one of the attorneys on the case. he seemed like a good attorney. congressman, not so good.
