Just loved the idea of making a single illegible for the charts, bought 'Go' on 12inch with the cassette of animal live. And then purchased the album Vs on vinyl , it was a positive time for music, with the whole alternative scene and the underrated scene in the UK, with the wildhearts, prodigy and many more. So that's where my journey started...

Pearl Jam
It was 2008 so much closer to Backspacer, but it was all pre-new album announcement...it was around October 2008

Takes me back to the time I saw Tyler of Dogs D'amour know himself out onstage at Hammy O. Came back 10-15 later head in bandages.

Latest story - Declan at Slipknot is up on the website now at www.giventolive.com along with Kayleigh at Foo Fighters, Tony at Stereophonics and more.
Inspired by Pearl Jam, making live music dreams come true.
I was walking thru the infield at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in May of '92 during Indy 500 time trials when I heard a group of race fans singing along to ALIVE on their sound system. I stopped and asked them who they were listening to & I bought TEN the next day!!

Like everyone else I saw the Alive & Even Flow videos... MTV really was great back then.. still have the tape I bought.

One of my best friends at the time told me about them around the same time I saw the video for Alive.
We both had the cassettes & wore them out & got the cd around the same time, I think.

I always "knew who PJ was" and I had heard all the radio hits, but it wasn't until 2006 when I went to my first concert that I started to become a junkie.

I didn't have cable back then (no MTV, even when it was good)...so my initial exposure to Ten was radio (the mighty WBCN Boston, they were onboard pretty early), and then I bought strictly cassettes up to No Code. Yield was the first PJ CD I bought.

Where I'm not ugly and you're lookin' at me
Whatever the path or reason, seems many things have changed for the better since then (due to both PJ and the cats).
Yeah.
"No longer overwhelmed and seems so simple now"
It's growing up just like me.
