truthiness wrote:called my framer today and he reassured me that this museum mount was completely reversible. Something along the lines of a japanese starch glue? I read online and it seems that any quality museum dry mount recommends that as the adhesive of choice.
So whatever... I got my HI Klausen framed and I'm stoked.
Nori Paste... It is reversible but it was un needed in this case since the glass and spacers hold the print in place. No need for glue of any kind. Request that if you frame again without any mat. Glad your poster is ok. has anyone ever framed their stickers before? I have a pretty sweet collection of stickers that I'd like to get done and can't decide if i want to frame them individually in little frames or one ginormous frame. Any ideas?0

It would be less money to do them in one big frame.10.31.93 / 10.1.94 / 6.24.95 / 11.4.95 / 10.19-20.96 / 7.16.98 / 7.21.98 / 10.31.00 /8.4.01 Nader Rally/ 10.21.01 / 12.8-9.02 / 6.01.03 / 9.1.05 / 7.15-16,18.06 / 7.20.06 / 7.22-23.06 / Lolla 070

Does anyone have a pic of the 2003 Council Bluffs Ames framed? There was one earlier in this thread but the photobucket link is now dead.
I took it into a framer and they suggested a black frame with a black matte. I wanted to see what other people have done with this print before I make my decision. Thanks.
Edited to add link to poster in case anyone would like to offer suggestions on a matte color.

I don't think I would do black for the mat... try double white mats with a 5/8" exposure. Black frame.10.31.93 / 10.1.94 / 6.24.95 / 11.4.95 / 10.19-20.96 / 7.16.98 / 7.21.98 / 10.31.00 /8.4.01 Nader Rally/ 10.21.01 / 12.8-9.02 / 6.01.03 / 9.1.05 / 7.15-16,18.06 / 7.20.06 / 7.22-23.06 / Lolla 070

Really, double white? You'd probably know better than me, but I find it odd.0 -

FYI - i'm a huge waters fan, i looked into these lithos and they are actually not signed by him, the litho plate was signed but not the actual print, i was going to get one myself until i found this out, if you don't believe me look into it for yourself, they are still forsale on his website50+ shows and lost count somewhere along the way0 -

Really, I didn't know that. Not like I really care, but I really thought he signed them. If it is a stamp it's sure a good job, because I just looked and it really looks signed. I'd like to see any others and compare.0 -
