it was another mad manchester oasis gig, lots of shoving (the fron barrier broke right at the start), so they sttod on stage for 25 mins, so they didnt stary playing 'turn up the sun' till 9:30, so for that 25 mins, liam asked girls to take off their tops and do sing along n shit like that

i got soaked with beer, people around me got soaked in piss.... a typical oasis gig

pretty good setlist...but damn about the shoving and all..
glad the link for TIOBI finally works ahah..
honestly i would have prefered a video with more of the band than actors

Coldplay have reportedly changed the release date of upcoming single Fix You to avoid direct competition with Oasis' The Importance of Being Idle.

A source told the Star: "Coldplay have moved Fix You back to a September release because their current single Speed of Sound is still getting such great airplay on the radio.

"I'm sure they are aware that Oasis were due to release on the same day, but that probably didn't affect their decision."

Another interpretation is that it is to avoid a clash such as that between Oasis and Blur in 1995 with Roll With It and Country House respectively.

I've been listening to "Pass Me Down the Wine" incessantly. And thanks for the link to those demos. I like the stripped down "Roll It Over" without the choir at the end.

If anyone knows a site where the Lyla B-sides can be found, let me know.

Never thought Song Bird would have worked live but it did and i thought it was great. I'm glad they played Mucky Fingers!! I like My Generation but would have prefered them to finish with a classic Oasis track.

I think most people have been underwhelmed with the setlist for this tour. The My Generation cover is okay, but I think most people would rather hear Supersonic or Some Might Say. I know I would.

i agree, i wished that the setlist were longer and that the shows were over 90 minutes long. honesly, it was nice to hear wonderwall and don't look back in anger, but i really wanted to hear gas panic!, d'you know what i mean and columbia in their place. i understand noel's point that they don't want oasis fans to feel cheated if one city gets a better setlist but c'mon, don't the get tired playing the same songs, in the same order every show?
