exile or sticky fingers, as in either or.. still have my original vinyl for exile, but my sf vinyl was stolen by an evil ex wife.Down the street you can hear her scream youre a disgrace
As she slams the door in his drunken face
And now he stands outside
And all the neighbours start to gossip and drool
He cries oh, girl you must be mad,
What happened to the sweet love you and me had?
Against the door he leans and starts a scene,
And his tears fall and burn the garden green0 -

My favorite album by the Rolling Stones is this one:
Beggars Banquet LetitBleed Sticky Fingers Exile On Main Street.
Good album that was!
What a run!!
I guess if I had to pick one,,, Beggars Banquet. I'll never forget buying that album when it first came out, putting it on and that drumbeat for Sympathy for the Devil started. Haha,,,,, mannnnnnn!!!!!! what an album!
And of course, my favorite live album ever, which has gotten me across the country on road trips, and home on late night drives innumerable times!:
Get your Ya Ya's out!Be kind, man
Don't be mankind. ~Captain Beefheart

It was mine, too, until I heard the boots of that tour, and realised how much studio overdubbin' had gone on! That shouldn't really affect my view of a "live" album, but, ya know, it did!

My favourite would be Sticky Fingers, so many good tunes on that one. It was also the very first Stones album I ever bought.0

i would say sticky fingers, but then i am leaving out let it bleed, sucking in the seventies (if this counts),exile, beggars, black and blue, some girls, its only rock & roll!!
i just dunno!!!!!!lay down all thoughts; surrender to the void

Exile is so great because they had just released "Hot Rocks" and there was no pressure for a hit album, and of course the drugs. I love all of of them during that era, from "Beggars Banquet" through "Goat Head Soup". No one could touch them."She knows there is no success like failure
And that failure's no success at all."
"Don't ya think its sometimes wise not to grow up."
"Cause life ain't nothing but a good groove
A good mixed tape to put you in the right mood."0 -

I am going to have to go with that one as well. The Man has a branch office in each of our brains, his corporate emblem is a white albatross, each local rep has a cover known as the Ego, and their mission in this world is Bad Shit.0 -

Tough call between Let it Bleed and Exile. Exile is maybe a little more cohesive, but LIB has Gimme Shelter, my all time favorite Stones tune.0
