Can't believe that no one mentioned "Airbag:How's My Driving?" ep. It's all the b-sides from OK Computer.

It has some of the b-sides but not all of them.

You're right. "Airbag ..." is wonderful. But I'm biased. I love everything Radiohead. It's really not that hard to get completely sucked in and it's never a bad time to start.

go on ebay or something and try to get both.
I have a preference for Amnesiac (much more interesting), but pablo honey has you and blow out. So go for both.

I bought the bends a while back liked it, then a few weeks ago bought OK Computer and im thinking this is best album ive ever heard and now just bought KID A and Hail to the Thief and both are great in their own right. From a few friends who have dug them for awhile they disagree on Amnesiac and Pablo Honey. Each One Loves the other and hates the other. My budget has allowed one cd purchase with my next paycheck, what should i pick up ?
imo you already got the best cd's by Radiohead (Bends and OK Computer). I would spend it one something different.

Though Amnesiac is not that good as a whole, I would buy that album over the outdated noise of Pablo Honey. Buy Amnesiac and listen to "You and Whose Army", "I Might Be Wrong", "Pyramid Song" and "Knives Out" and it will be worth the price of admission right there.

Also they did a reprise of "Moring Bell" that is pretty good.

The Bends is the only album I like alot by them.........OK Computer might be the most overrated album ever.

IMO it is impossible to overrate OK Computer!

everyone left out dollars & cents!!!! i love that song!

it's not really a reprise of morning bell, it's the demo of it, i think it could've been left off

i swallowed his facade cos i'm so
    eager to identify with
    someone above the crowd
someone who seemed to feel the same

Why does a comment like that not surprise me from an Oasis fan!

I don't really rate Pablo Honey and I don't own it, Creep must be on of the most overrated songs in their back catalogue.

Radiohead are one of my fav bands of all time, I'd go for Amnesiac any day, yes it isn't as flowing as Kid A but it's got Pyramid Song, Knives Out, You and Who's Army & my 2 favs Dollars & Cents & the cracking closing Life in a Glass House.

I'd forget Pablo and than go to Hail to the Thief and yes Eraser is a corker as well.

I bought OK Computer first a few years ago. Didn't really get it. Gave it a few more chances, and then put it up for a while. Then I busted it out years later and it started clicking, enough to get me interested enough to buy The Bends. Now that one (The Bends) had me hooked from the start, so I go back to OK Computer and it has clicked officially.

My question though (sorry to hijack your thread OP) is where should I go now? I'm no diehard fan, but I want to get more into them. I know Kid A is probably gonna be the majority response, but I've heard bits of it and I guess I'm intimidated so.....what should I do? ;)

So I assuming you have all the Radiohead albums, and are wanting ideas for another band's album to buy?

MUSE - BLACKHOLES AND REVELATIONS - buy it and you'll think it's what Radiohead could have been had they gone the same route post-OK COMPUTER.

    .....................................and then you woke up!!!

get 'hail to the thief." i always felt that musically, it was the bridge between OK computer and kid A... if you still are interested in hearing more after HTTT, i would recommend listening to kid a.

personally, kid a is my favorite... but for someone a little wary of jumping right into it, i would recommend going the route i just described.

in response to the threadstarter, get amnesiac.

ok computer is one of my all time favorite albums, without question - the first 6 tracks on that album is just plain fucking fantastic. but personally i feel ok computer looses quite a bit of steam the second half:

no surprises is plain boaring and the tourist is a rediculously weak attempt at closing such a glorious album.
