    Santa Barbara is a great town. It is near to my heart.

    State Street is pretty cool. Anyone like Brophy Bros. at the Harbor? That is a cool clam bar. Good Mexican food -- Paseo on State Street. Also check out the many awesome burrito places in SB. Have fun everyone. See you at Dargan's.

    Anyone with an extra ticket to Santa Barbara please let me know.I got shut out of the presale,couldn't get a ticket from Ticketmaster ,tried Razor Gator they promised and did not deliver I am going mad...I cried like a child all day today.I really,really want to be there.

    brophy's is great. good bowl of chowder and a bloody mary.

    i recommend chicken ranch for burritos, there is one on de la vina, muy bueno.

    I really want to attend this pre-party, but it all depends on how quickly I can get there from San Diego. I'm 90% sure I'll make it, though. If I make it in time, I'll bring a poster for the raffle. I don't know which one yet, I'll have to look.

    Agreed. I've often said Brophy's has the best chowder on the west coast. Cool vibe, too.

    On the ground now out in sunny CA (after flying out Tuesday and leaving the MN snow behind)...

    I'm doing my very best to focus on work today and tomorrow before making the drive from OC up to Santa Barbara...

    I'm very ready for an intimate show with Ed tomorrow, surrounded by 2000 of my newest, best friends. I have such an emotional connection to PJ shows -- the crowds, the collective mood and spirit..... it's hard to accurately describe the impact it has on my pysche.

    Candidly, it's something my wife teases me about -- 'haven't you grown out of this by now?' -- She enjoys the shows, but not anywhere close to my experience.

    Another 10c buddy and me are flying out to NY (without MSG tix so far, but fingers crossed) in June to catch the boys and to continue the love fest... but this show Thursday comes at a perfect time for me, and Ed solo may prove to be extra special.

    I better start tempering my expectations as I'm worried that Ed couldn't possibly deliver.... could he?

    PS -- Vedhead -- I should hopefully get to the pub early and will be happy to help in set up or anything else that needs done.
