About The Arlington
The Arlington Theater seats over 2,000 and its atmospheric interior is just one part of its majesty. After walking past the free-standing ticket booth, under the marquee and through the spanish courtyard and fountains, visitors enter the small lobby on their way into movie paradise.

Entering the theater, the auditorium is flanked on both sides by faux-spanish villas while lanterns, windows and staircases adorn both walls. The ceiling is also filled with twinkling stars that give the illusion that the viewer is watching a film in an outside courtyard.

The Arlington is a can't miss experience and a beautifully restored example of the great Fox palaces of the past.

    I have a question. It's early to say but ..

    When will the pre-party start? And will this place be the afterparty?

    you should go early regardless....santa barbara is a beautiful place and you should check it out.....beats the hell out of hanging out in glendale...;) :D

    it's an 1h 30 min drive away from there (well, using the google earth jam). we will be leaving early morning that day to check out the sites of beautiful santa barbara. just wanted to know the time the doors open for the preshow. the tickets will be given out 5:30pm at the theatre right?, then head back to the bar (or wait in line for an hour) then get ready for the intimate show with ed at 7:30pm. i'm getting goosebumps from all this. i've never done anything like this in my life. :)

    great way to visit the states for the first time.....since i'm assuming it's assigned seats we won't need wait in line so pickup tix and head back to the bar for a couple more drinks and then the shows......i'm so amped for these shows....small venue shows are the best...:)

    Cool! I didn't realize it until I saw the pic, but that's where I saw Star Wars (Epi 1) for the first time. No joke. I was visiting my friend at UCSB and I was surprised it was a movie theater.

    i'll go through my poster collection and have a gig poster to donate to the cause. maybe an edmonton '05 or something ;)

    the arlington is amazing, i saw jerry seinfeld there a while ago. he said his original plan to start the show was to swing down from the balcony on a rope like zorro, but decided against it. maybe ed will go for that since jerry was too much of a wuss :)

    hey! i saw star wars at the arlington too. i just remember being really pissed about jar jar binks.

    but i've always wanted the pj to play a show there, ala benaroya hall. this is definitely the next best thing.
