Don't believe it till they announce it. Zeppelin was rumored at this time last year.0
-
I would love it.
Missed the Dead at my first Roo in 04 because I didn't pace myself and passed out (lesson since learned).
And Phish... the festival is made for them. It seems there is a strong divide between fans who want them there and fans who don't, which I don't get. But whatever- I fucking want them there and hope that they do play it.0 -
phish....i don't see it happening, but I could be wrong.
the remaining members of the dead....maybe, they might be touring together in the spring0 -
It makes me think I won't be making a return trip. But I wouldn't give much credence to the rumors at this time.
I'm hoping for the Boss...but I figure that is unlikely. Rolling Stone is reporting that he will have a new album early next year thoughAll I have to do is revel in the everyday....then do it again tomorrow
They say every sin is deadly but I believe they may be wrong...I'm guilty of all seven and I don't feel too bad at all0 -
I'm thinking that I've never been less tempted to go to concert in my entire life.0

I doubt Phish will be there but the Dead is looking to be more likely. I really hope that the new Led Zeppelin doesn't show up. I was really hoping for them this year but without Plant it's not Zeppelin.I wish I was as fortunate, as fortunate as me.0

Haha Classic stuff.....
Yeah, it was embarassing. Enjoyed the green a little too much that day. I was just so excited to be there, you know? Overdid it quite a bit.
They played Shine On You Crazy Diamond, too. That would have been awesome to see.0 -
well, if those two bands are playing, im for sure goin down. unless, of course, phish comes here (minny)"I changed by not changing at all"0
-
i wouldn't go for that. unless the third headliner was a rock act then i'd consider but that's too much jam band time for my liking."Tonight we're just gonna play you some good old American Rock and Roll." tom petty-7-15-050

being our first 'Roo and thoroughly enjoying ourselves, my buddy and i were talking about going next year...
however, if this rumor came true....i would not waste my money and time.
Esther's here and she's sick?
hi Esther, now we are all going to be sick, thanks0 -
Am I the only one that truly dislikes jam bands? Even if they are great guitarists, 10 minute solos are not neccessary- IMO.0

if i was a betting man, i would bet a lot of money that bruce springsteen will not be at roo. i would definitely not get my hopes up for that because its simply not going to happen.0 -

that'd be nice to see, but i'm not making that trek. 'roo is a great festival, but just too big for me. i'll stick with my moe.down every labor day weekend, just an hour away from home."Have you ever.........pooped a balloon?"

i love replies like this. first, i believe that if you were at a pearl jam concert and mike started shredding for 15-20 minutes you'd be loving every minute of it. you'll probably say "no, i'd get sick of it after a few minutes" but i won't believe you. second, you say you don't like jam bands...and that's great. just one less person taking up space at a show i'll be at in the future."Have you ever.........pooped a balloon?"

For the guy that doesn't like jam bands... go to a Disco Biscuits concert. Holy shit. It's mesmerizing... you just fucking dance and have a great fucking time.If I could, think I would give in.0

RATM, U2, Beastie Boys, Eddie Solo, AC/DC, KoL,I'm gone ..Long gone..This time I'm letting go of it all...So long...Cause this time I'm gone0

Phish sounds interesting.
When I went to the States I admitted I don't know who Phish or Grateful Dead were to surprised people. Until one man said that he been to the UK and he was shocked to hear not many people knew the Dead.
I saw Cracker live and was asking about their cover LOSER. I was surprised to hear that was originally by the Dead.
Good home looked them up on the net. Saw Youtube and am now a confirmed fan 12 years after the death of Garcia.
Phish too I discovered on Youtube. Thank God for these sites or else I still be confused over most of these bands mentioned on this site.Pack up the moon and dismantle the sun - W.H. Auden0 -
