In response to a request, here's a little show and tell........ join in all !!
MOst of the pic quality is poor, but a couple are OK.

I just got this yesterday. I tried it through a Bad Caat Hot Cat 30 hed/212, and loved it. A friend has one too, they make either a great addordable intro level LP, or a hell of a beater, which is what is it in my case. I always found myself playing an OK but nothing special git when I go to friends places or anywhere out, cos the pretty ones stay at home.
Oh, there's Lucy now.............

And here's one of Ed playing Betterman in Brisbane late last year
http://i127.photobucket.com/albums/p133/lucylespian/PJconcert006.jpg
And last, my H&K Triamp, has been accused of attracting aliens, but usually they fly off when they hear me play !!
http://i127.photobucket.com/albums/p133/lucylespian/phonepics002.jpg
Still want another multichannel amp though, cos the H&K does a few hrs and something else to take share load will help. I had some reliability issues last year, which I think are related to how much I use it. I'm gonna change the tubes in the Lonestar to EL34, presently 6L6, after hearing the Bad Cat.
I have played the Mesa Stiletto Ace which is tasty, either that or another rectifier, they really are just the shit. There is always teh Road King too, but SO EXPENSIVE here in Australia.

Cool shit! I'm gonna have to take some pics of my stuff, although not nearly as impressive.Believe me, when I was growin up, I thought the worst thing you could turn out to be was normal, So I say freaks in the most complementary way. Here's a song by a fellow freak - E.V0

Thanks man, but you know, compared to guys on the Les Paul forum, I have almost nothing. Go there and have a look, it is a great forum, really interesing and inclusive.

Your Ibanez stuff is great, I have an old Ibanez acoustic, I'll put up some shots of that too. It was my first guitar, bought in 1980, has a solid spruce top, and is still a great player.Music is not a competetion.0 -
Wow lucylepian your gear is beautiful. Theose guitars are incedible, and that Triamp is just unbelievable to behold.
My gear is a bit more beat on and a little more downscale but there is a lot of it. Here are some links.
Crate VC30 amp, Ibanez Bass, Hamer Studio w. EMG pickups, Fernandes Strat w. Roland pickup, Fernandes Jaco Pastorius bass (fretless, but w. stenciled fret markers).

Early 70's Japanese made Yamaha accoustic (truly sounds better to my ears than some martin's I've heard... and of course not as good as some others... but a really fine guitar), Tamboura, Hamer Special.

Roland Super JX & Waldorf Pulse

Fernandes Tele Thinline... my favorite electric.

Monster, how does the SG special feel? I want an SG eventually (especially a 61 reissue, Pete style) but I don't want to drop $1200-$1800 bucks on a single guitar if it's not leaps and bounds above the competition.
And ex, that casino looks gorgeous even if it is just the natural finish. If idle hands are the devil's workshop, he must not be very productive.

I love the feel of the Special, but then I'm partial to thicker necks. Its definitely got the 50's style neck, whereas the '61 has the slimmer neck. I slapped some pickup covers on it because I prefer that look to open, exposed humbuckers. All in all its a great guitar at a good price. I bought it off some guy that posted it for sale here actually, for like $600 if I'm not mistaken. Its a little scuffed up, but it just adds character. I can't believe how much Gibson raised some of their prices though. I remember looking at the '61 this time last year and it was a few hundred cheaper than it is now.0 -

That's a nice looking guitar you've got there. Very distinctive while keeping a simple look about it. Good stuff. It's a town full of losers and I'm pulling out of here to win0 -

Good to know, I'm partial to thinner necks, which is why I like my strat so much. The covered pickups threw me off a little, but it looks good.If idle hands are the devil's workshop, he must not be very productive.

What a coincidence... i just took pics of my stuff yesterday. It's rather modest, but it's only the beginning.
Fender Nashville Telecaster (Candy Apple Red). I think I'm gonna swap all the texas special pups for vintage noiseless. It's a little too bluesey for me. Also, probably swapping the bridge for a 3 saddle vintage bridge, gonna be a Joe Barden bridge as of now.

Its a great axe, especially if you can find one at a discount. The pickup covers are just a personal preference. I've never liked the way exposed humbuckers looked.
Check it out if you're interested in getting one, just found it on eBay:
