What's everyones favorite chord?

My is lazy, but it always hit's the sweet spot

Just a simple E power chord up on the A string. Music to my ears as always. Sorry folks, I've been playing almost 15 years and never attempted to learn actual chord names.

oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

Yeah I believe so, but just in case I was off, I didn't say a thing.

No matter what I'm setting up to record, I'll play that chord just to make sure the "Tone" is where it's at.

Have to agree with you there, or sus4 chords.

I am a big fan of a nice open E though.

    Minor7 & sus2/sus4 chords are always nice
This is one of my favorite open chords (Em7-022033)

Since I play a lot of jazz I use moveable Min7 and Maj7 chords a lot.
    This one's Cm7 (X35343) so is this (8X8888)
    Maj7's (XX5432) & (779897) (GMaj7 & Emaj7)
    Min7#5 (579655) a-la Andy Summers (Police) - this one's called a C#min7#5.

These are moveable chord position that I use everywhere - some of my favorites.

So funny though because everytime i hear a song start with it, i think of "Shakedown Street" immediately. There are so many songs that kick off with a D minor

I like Gmaj. Because all the strings you press are towards the outside, its easy to get it ringing out nice and clear, without accidentally muting strings you don't want to :)
