    the beatles..................
  • we were in the middle of a 12 hour drive home from vacation 4 years back and zeppelins over the hills and far away came on the radio and i was just awe struck at how beautiful it sounded...i'd never "really" paid attention to how amazing a guitar can sound and after hearing that i decided it was time to pick up a guitar and start playing...that was the first song i learned to...it took me a goddamn month and my fingers hurt so bad...but once i was able to play that jangly intro i was addicted...guitar is worse than coke man...you just can not stop once you start

...so jimmy page...god bless that man...god bless him
if you're a pot smoker and you don't own a ukulele you're fuckin up...but then once you get a ukulele you might end up moving to a guitar because its a gateway instrument you know

The first real guitar player I idolized was Ace Frehley. Then Randy Rhoads. When I did actually start to play, Hendrix, SRV, Tony Iommi were the shit.

The main riff to Alive. I practiced over and over to get the whole song right.

However, the first song that I ever learned was "Wish You Were Here" - Pink Floyd.
And if hope could grow from dirt like me, it can be done
  • Jimmy Page, then I saw a video of Stevie Ray Vaughn playing live...almost cried.....but now Im completly influenced by Mike and Stone....Im not the best lead player so I just try to be the most well rounded player I can.

Billy Gibbons-ZZ Top. When I was 7, I was obsessed with La Grange, Then I really started paying attention to Tom Scholtz's riffs on Boston's 1st record & I was sold.
