The simple beauty of this lyric is how interchangable the two words can be and fit into the song.
"Violins" is along the lines of describing the scene, Alone, Breakfast Table, Young Girl, Violins....
"Violence" can be used to desribe the overall tone/message of the song. Young Girl, abuse.
