So many to choose from and some previous posts have quoted killer lines. I like "the rocking horse of time" in Release, I think it's a pretty good metaphor for how the past sneaks up on you at times and memories (good or bad) that you thought long gone still hover around.
I also like "and now my bitter hands cradle broken glass" from Black. Such a fitting image of loss and despair. I really like how these lyrics can express so much in very few words.
