    Just watched the first 2 episodes of "Cape Fear" on Apple. Not sure how I feel about it, the older movies are classic, so I'm not comparing, just feels off. I was looking forward to weird Javier again, we'll see, maybe it gets better.

    There’s a TV movie in the first two hours plus one bad action scene and alien/SF tech. "We deserve to know" is true in the movie but the showtime towards the end is old news to the movie audience because too much was visible long before. 145 minutes, not much story power, only uninteresting people, laughable bad guys, no visual power and the disclosure day isn‘t working. Pretty unique flop.

    I thought it was alright… had some moments, not as riveting as I hoped… Emily Blunt is always good

    I'm starting to think the great Speilberg has fully lost his edge, although i'm just going off the reviews. Had to happen sometime. He's pretty old.

    Finally got around to seeing this with the family on Wednesday. It could have used a little editing, but it was a fun, sci-fi romp. Nothing new or groundbreaking, but happy to have a movie that everyone in my family enjoyed.

    Tonight, I’m off to see The Furious. I’m hopeful for this one. Reviews declare that it has the best fights since The Raid. That’s high praise, but I am excited to see some brutally choreographed fight scenes.
