Look at every other major show with a seated floor the last couple years. They’ve all been that way. Nothing is ever certain but the evidence suggests this is how it would look.mcgruff10 said:

In this scenario those are Ten Club seats and if they're looking to charge premium prices they could do that the same with GAekwipt said:Big problem with going back to a fully seated floor is the way the ticketing landscape has changed. 95% of that GA space would likely be “premium” and priced at $500-2000. Hey thats fair! For that one guy - yes obviously handicap accessible is 100% legit and I want to believe the band and venues think about this, and maybe it deserves more thought for being right up front.on2legs said:
But that's the magic of seats. They are for everyone.JG242853 said:
Aaaand thats why I said its not for everyone.MB30816 said:
It's quite common for people to be physically unable to attend a PJ show in the pit for a wide variety of reasons. It's quite obvious that many of you have never thought about it from this perspective, so I encourage you to consider other opinions.JG242853 said:Its hard for me to believe people are advocating for no pit but each to their own. The pit experience is far more lively, with a much more intense experience. Especially up front. And yes, the payment is you need to stand for a while. You need stamina to handle it. It's not for everyone. Whenever I get pit I feel blessed.
I was at the Slide Away festival in Brooklyn a few weeks back. The band I was there to see was Hum, and they came on at 11:15! I'm used to Pearl Jam where that signals the end of the night. Plus, I'm a Dad of two so there's no sleeping in for me the next morning on weekends to rest up. But I was so energized by the GA crowd, and they were refreshingly mostly quite young. It reminded me of what a great GA crowd can add to the show, and the band really fed off the energy.
All that said (handicap aside) - I simply cannot imagine being front row at PJ and sitting down for any part of the show. Maybe an exception is like an extremely intimate acoustic performance or something... But if I'm front row, or tenth row, or anywhere down up front I gotta stand. Im way too excited.Randall's Island, NY 9/29/1996, Randall's Island, NY 6/8/1997 (Ed and Mike), Jones Beach, NY 8/23/2000, Los Angeles, CA 7/10/2006, Hartford, CT 6/27/2008, Los Angeles, CA 10/6/2009, San Diego, CA 11/21/2013, Los Angeles, CA 11/24/2013, MSG, NY 5/1/2016, Seattle, WA 8/10/2018, Los Angeles, CA 5/6/2022, Los Angeles, CA 5/7/2022, Camden, NJ 9/14/2022, St Paul 8/31/2023, St Paul 9/2/2023, Las Vegas 5/18/24, MSG NY 9/3/24, Philadelphia PA 9/9/24, Ohana CA 9/27/24, Atlanta, GA 4/29/25, Pittsburgh, PA 5/16/25, Pittsburgh, PA 5/18/250 -
Most would be 10c seats and sold to members at face value. The 10% of seats that Ticketmaster holds on to would DEFINITELY be PJ premium.pjl44 said:

I’m not a GA person myself but I kind of like that they have it. Once in a while I might dabble, but the energy in the pit section is kind of symbiotic with the band and it creates a better vibe for the show. I also have friends who love the pit experience and I’m the type of person who is happy for his friends when they’re happy. I’m usually content with a decent reserve seat and a chill experience.PJ: 2013: London (ON); Buffalo; 2014: Cincinnati; 2016: Sunrise, Miami, Toronto 1-2, Wrigley 2; 2018: London (UK) 1, Milan, Padova, Sea 2, Wrigley 1-2, Fenway 1-2; 2021: SHN, Ohana, Ohana Encore 1-2; 2022: LA 1-2, Phx, Oak 1-2, Fresno, Copenhagen, Hyde Park 1-2; Quebec, Ottawa, Hamilton, Toronto; MSG, Camden, Nashville, Louisville, St. Louis, OKC; 2023: St. Paul 1-2, Chicago 1-2; Fort Worth 2; Austin 1-2; 2024: Vancouver 1-2, LV 1-2, LA 1-2, Napa, Barcelona 1-2; Indy; Chicago 1-2; MSG 1-2; Philly 2; Boston 2; Ohana 1-2; 2025: FL 1-2, ATL 1-2, Nash 1-2, Pit 1-2.

Then the issue here would be more good seats being held back by TM not the relative pricing of GA vs. seatsmr bungle said:

There are handicap sections and special seating for a reason. No need to overcomplicate this. At the end of the day, it's a rock show. GA brings the energy and an opportunity for newer fans to enjoy an up close experience.0

PJ rocked pretty hard from 1998-2011 with seats on the floor. I brought a lot of new fans on the floor with me and they absolutely loved it.vedpunk said:There are handicap sections and special seating for a reason. No need to overcomplicate this. So far, Pearl Jam hasn't really used tier pricing. So, GA is the same price as the other seats in the venue. The exception is the the 10% of seats that TM charges as premium. GA is not included in that.TenDays said:

This. I really enjoyed those days as well. Pulled First Row for Virginia Beach, right in front of Jeff. Was so pumped realizing what had just happened.Abe Froman said:

IIRC, Wrigley 2013 was the first US non-festival with a pit since 1998.Presidential Advice from President-Elect Mike McCready: "Are you getting something out of this all encompassing trip?"0 -

OTOH, if those premium seats included extra crap, it might be worth it.
$600-$1000 for a ticket, a poster, a digital download coupon from Nugs and early admission to the venue?
Lots of people might be tempted.
Include a private bar area with appetizers and two drink tickets (soft drinks, beer/wine and well drinks) and it's even better.
$1000 for a ticket in the first few rows (including side stage), a poster, digital download, early admission, and private bar that includes two drinks?
How much extra would you be paying to avoid the merch line and get two drinks to do so? $800 or so? It'd be a flippers' paradise. That's the downside.Post edited by Lost In Ohio onPresidential Advice from President-Elect Mike McCready: "Are you getting something out of this all encompassing trip?"0
