Carolina is sitting there licking their chops, unfortunately
    Fuck them. 😡

Get ready for a Carolina vs Vegas stanley cup final.

because evil and the undeserving always prevail
I want VGK to get there but I’m not counting on it.
    easier than I thought.

thank god I don’t have to hear any more makar mackinnon makar mackinnon makar mackinnon blah, blah, blah.

hoping montreal can get past carolina….if that happens, the whole world will be rooting against VGK….and I’m fine with that.

The 12-day rest for Carolina is the biggest difference.  Montreal has been playing every other day for months.

Yup, it's sure looking that way. Wild to think a Canadian team hasn't lifted Lord Stanley since 1993. But either team has an uphill battle going against Vegas. And Vegas wouldn't have even made the playoffs if they were in the East!

I think I got my Super Nintendo around the time Montreal won the cup.  They were pretty good in NHLPA '93.

At least the Vancouver riot after the Canucks lost provided this amusing GIF of a fan getting his Jimmy's blown off a mere 15 years ago ... so for that we should be thankful

Wow. Utterly shocked, especially after seeing him carrying the torch into the Bell Center a few nights ago. He was a player you hated if he wasn't on your team. RIP.

Suicide, shocking after seeing him just a few days ago.  Terrible for his family and friends. RIP.  and yes I hated him as a player.

So terrible … it’s difficult to see what’s on the inside of the ones you love. I’ve unfortunately lost a few due to Suicide…

    RIP CLAUDE LEMIEUX

Yeah and those two 7-game series did a number on them.  I didn't expect them to beat Carolina but they also are playing worse than expected through the entire series, although the signs were there against Tampa and Buffalo.

I’ll be rooting for Vegas but Carolina will probably win. Vegas has a few former flyers on there (Carter hart and Torts).

I'm guessing Wob was talking about the Canes finishing off Les Habs.
    This weekend we rock Portland

I think last night bodes well for my VGK. the first two carolina goals were the result of lazy VGK passes and the third came off a flukey faceoff. they can clean that up.
