it was worse than that….colorado’s second goal came with 3:33 to go. I have a good buddy in MN….I texted him “not easy being a MN sports fan.” he replied “understatement of the year.” Twins were 35 years ago.

they have the lowest amount of championships of any metropolitan area that has all 4 major sports. crazy only the Twins have won a title. Wild have had some good teams lately just can't go on a run. I thought this series was definitely going 6 or 7.

I do feel bad for Wild fans. That was a brutal way to get bumped. I thought we'd at least get 6 games. It's hard to imagine anyone but the Avs taking home the Cup, but who knows? Excited for the Sabres/Habs game tonight but I really hope they clean up the lackluster officiating.

No surprise on Habs/Sabres. They were both so hot ending the year. Montreal seems to play with a lot more discipline and less wasted emotion (except maybe Dobes who has a temper for a goalie). I like the Habs here and Marty is doing a phenomenal job. He should be up for the Adams.

As far as the finals, it's really the Hurricanes that are the wild card. They have the game on both ends of the ice to be champs. Can they put it together? Can they avoid the choke? Are they resting too much? It feels like they have been right on the cusp for several years.

That's how I feel about Colorado. I have never stopped hating them since Lemieux smashed Draper's face years ago. God, I hated him and that whole team.
