watched Wuthering Heights yesterday w/Margo, it wasn’t bad. Not sure about people complaining about “steamy sex scenes” I’ve seen worst, bunch of prudes people can be. I still liked the one with Tom Hardy better.

Pretty entertaining. With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy. ~ Desiderata0 -
A few oldies this week… Sophie Marceau is lovely, What happens in Vegas apparently don’t stay there, and I’m always lil peaved with Forest for taking Jenny in at the end…. Ya ain’t Jesus bruh, she made bad choices and never loved ya … what a heart on that Forest

Thought I watched a TV movie of the week in theater. I was hooked good enough by the character at first but it went down. What’s going on / happened interests the character in her life but I lost interest in the character/s and the scenario. That’s a rare combination. There isn’t much Paris in the movie, it could be set elsewhere. There is acting but it didn’t save the movie. Can recommend it only to a certain type of Judie Foster fans > individuals who know they will be happy enough with it, if the personal entertainment value of the whole thing is below average.23scidoo said:

became uninteresting over timeNot to every fan, because that value is extreme unforseenable here, below 5/10 is easily possible. No idea how good or bad it could work for you.
To me it wasn’t worth the ticket price and that’s extreme rare. No need to watch it on a big screen, it can be even the same movie on mobile phone screen. Anyway, waste of time warning;)

I read the book XX years ago and still have it. The movie was a must-see since then. All in all the ending was the best thing on the movie’s positive side. The book is clearly my first choice.0 -
Thanks, not big Foster's fan but i'll give it a chance..D-Day said:

Not a big fan too. I was attracted by "murder mystery" + Judie Foster at first. And I knew it was filmed in French and about its entry on the French shortlist for the foreign language Oscar. But there was no screening to watch the original language version with subtitles. No way that this attraction would have saved the movie good enough to me but if you can select the language + subtitles, French seems the best option to watch the thing.Post edited by D-Day on0 -
