That Boston team they threw out there tonight was terrible.  I think the Sixers have a real shot to make the finals.  The Knicks are beatable. Maxey is the best Sixers draft pick in a long time. Dudes a stud.

What the hell would make a sane coach think "well, Tatum is out so rather than just replacing him in the starting lineup with our best bench player Pritchard, why don't I sit 2 other starters and put 3 scrubs into the starting lineup, essentially our 8th, 11th and 12th rotation players"? Luka Garza and Ron Fucking Harper Jr.? WTF.
Lost the game in the first 5 minutes, had to spend the entire night climbing out of a hole.
    This weekend we rock Portland

Ponc, legit I was more concerned WITHOUT Tatum in the lineup. Boston basically got to the 2 seed without him this year. Absolutely the best player but he's not his usual self and I was more concerned when they realized they didn't need to entertain the notion that he was playing.

Take a look at Embiid’s line. You have to give the guy credit. He was great, in this, game 7 in Boston.

I gotta admit, in the Sixers thread, I was rooting for the C’s. The Sixers were actually the “team of my youth” but the juggler’s (miss that guy!) constant rah-rah about JoJo and fraudulent ROY Ben Simmons kind of soured me.

Anyway, yeah the C’s starting lineup was WTF. I  watched them go down by 13(?) and then went to hockey. I would check in and they were usually still trailing by 8 or so. I checked back in…4 minutes to go, down by one. I thought “I better watch this”…three straight times, they have the ball with a chance to take the lead…the Garden is rocking…three straight times, they launch a 3…clink, clank, clunk.

He was, but lets see how much he milk's getting hit in the knee late  .  I said early in the season I thought this team could make a run this year.  Love Maxey and VJ and the East isn't great.  Should be a fun series with the Knicks.

Knocks win by 30 tonight. Then a fun series after that. No I have not purchased a $300 nosebleed seat.

So I'm out of town on Friday and will probably watch the game at a bar. But just to be safe.... the fact that I have to actually call a bunch of different hotels to see if they have smart tv's in the rooms so I can see GAME THREE OF THE EASTERN CONFERENCE SEMI'S is as big a fucking indictment of Adam Silver as I have ever seen.

This motherfucker foisted the Collangelo family upon us and is now making it more difficult for fans to watch his sports playoffs. Nonsense.

Hope the place isn't full of Knicks fans. I was at game 6 the other night and the atmosphere was so great.

    Fuck the Celtics
    Fuck the Knicks
    Last night never happened

    Let's fucking go

I'd say that's a lot of points for a guy's first career game.

Hope we can get a bandwagon going for this team.
when are you guys NOT on the bandwagon?
I've been off the Sixers bandwagon since the Hinkie tanking Trust the Process Bullshit.   Maxey and Edgecombe bringing me back a bit.
We got Edgecombe by tanking last year.
Last year wasn’t tanking , they had good players who were hurt so the season went down the drain. Going into the season their plan was to try and win.  Huge difference than the Hinkie bullshit.  The basketball gods are still paying the franchise back for that crap
    Yes it was.

It was a mini tank. Those players, other than Jo, could have come back and played and they could have battled for a play in game. But they made the correct move to shut it down play mostly scrubs the last 2 months of the season in hopes of keeping their pick (they would have lost it if it landed outside the top 6).

Then Morey deserves a TON of credit for the VJ pick as that was most certainly not the consensus at 3. We now have one of the best young back courts in the league that has a decent shot this year but will be around long term as well. Morey has done a real good job of building a team that can sort of play that two timeline thing---now with Jo and PG (who's been great this year) and when they're gone.

"Basketball gods." Are your gods aware of the Sixers history in the previous three decades prior to Hinkie coming here? Lol.

Knicks fans beating up a Sixers fan in NY after game 2 and a douche bag Knicks fan yelling let’s go Knicks during a moment of silence for Nick Nurse’s brother but Philly fans right?  Where’s Cliffy to tell us Philly fans are the worst?

you come to clown me and they don't win a game since and got obliterated in two of the 4 games. pretty damn funny.  still trusting the process?   your boy Embiid has still made it past the 2nd round as often as I have.  keep trusting the process.
