Mt. Fuji & Happiness Code (2025)
Such a great movie, especially for someone who had just visited Japan and Mt. Fuji
Today at my local independent cinema:

Gut-wrenching
Yeah, it's a great movie. I think everyone should watch it. It's not necessarily something new, if you're following closely the War on Gaza, but it definitely offers another perspective to all its ramifications. Be prepared for a post-movie depression syndrome.23scidoo said:Is The Voice Of Hind Rajab so good as people said??Pap said:From HEL to HND:

I'm not sure I'd go quite as far as that, but I agree ot was really really good, and definitely think Crowe got kinda robbed on that one (i'm a big fan of his - i think he diesn't get enough credit as an actor in general). And F1 goy best pic nomination over this? Pretty stupid. Rami Malik also put on a good show. Was sad about the true story about his character after the fact.SPEEDY MCCREADY said:Nuremberg
One of The Best movies I have ever watched.
How on Earth did that get ZERO Academy Award nominations?
Russell Crowe was outstanding in that role.
It was good. Odd ending. Not bad but odd.CarryTheZero said:How was Fuze? Going on Wednesday.
Thank you so much for that information. I'm trying to talk her into seeing some Sumo.Pap said:Oh, so nice! Congratulations!Original_Shifty said:My wife an I are headed to Japan in November for 30th anniversary.Pap said:From HND to HEL:

Have any pointers for first time visitors? :-)
I've only been to Tokyo and Mt. Fuji. Here are the activities I did in a span of four days: 1) Tokyo Japanese Dance Cabaret Theatre Asakusa-Kaguwa, 2) Tokyo Shinjuku Sumo Show & Experience w/ Photos, 3) Tokyo Top Highlights 3h Guided E-bike Tour, 4) Mount Fuji Full Day Sightseeing Tour from Tokyo. If you have time definitely visit the Sensō-ji temple. The only thing I didn't manage to do was to visit Miraikan (Museum of Emerging Science & Innovation), and take a picture at the statue of Hachikō. If you have any further questions, I'd be happy to address them![]()

It was mostly a demonstration and not a game per se. Every move was firstly explained and then we got to watch how they are performed. The rikishis (professional sumo wrestlers) were quite engaging and funny. An actual game will be a totally different story.Original_Shifty said:Thank you so much for that information.
