I listened from the sixth inning on. I went to the game when Gavin Williams took a no-hitter into the ninth in New York last summer.

I watched Severino do it twice.  Both into the 8th for the Mets.

No team with a 12-game losing streak ever made the postseason and only four teams with a 12-game skid ever finished with a winning record.

This is the full list of teams to lose at least 12 in a row.

The 3rd wild card spot at least gives them a better chance than previous 12+ games losing streak teams.  Not a good chance. But slightly better

So, here ya go. Not that anyone is going to give a rats ass. After spending my life working and traveling obviously not having time to watch any baseball, things have changed. I have MLB network for the 1st time and I LOVE IT!

    Some observations.

Watching day games at Fenway is amazing. Everything about the park and the home town broadcast is perfect.

Ive always said I am a Yankees fan. All because as a child I realized the Cubs only win a championship once a century. So I said, "Fuck it, GO YANKEES! " But I am not impressed with the Yankees telecast. They are almost boring.

The Dodgers? I cant get enough of the Dodgers. Ohtani and the gang are just such a fun fucking team to watch. Their broadcast is entertaining too.

Anyway. Its nice to watch baseball.

I love weekday afternoon games, whether it's watching or listening to games. Last time I went to Fenway, I saw Judge homer twice in 2022 to get to 57 and was sitting about 10 rows off the field behind home plate.

To me, that's not a big deal. Injured players usually don't accompany the team on road trips and at home he's working on rehabbing the injury.

fenway is a shit hole. as far as ancient ballparks go, wrigley is 100x better.

yes, the yankees have shit broadcasters.

the dodgers, “fun”? no, they’re a bunch of mercenary assholes. I’d think their broadcast sucks, too.

The mets got rid of some key locker room presence in Pete and Nimmo.

Were they glue for the team?  Could be judging by their performance.
