    That was always one theory.  Trump had the ability to unify and get votes, but was it other people pulling the strings.  If they try to rally behind another figurehead will they have success or fragment.

    I didn't watch it....wtf is the point? I went out with my work crew for happy hour, and lived life without a single thought about fuckstick ruining the world. I suppose I should maybe look and see what I missed? But I know it's just nonsense.

    Whatever man. I feel way better about everything after that speech. Confident and comforted. It was the single greatest speech I’ve ever seen. No one has ever seen or heard anything like it. It was the hottest speech in history. Everybody is talking about it.

    Wife and I were watching Survivor, and he interrupted the middle of it. She left the room to play on the computer and I sat through it. I said out loud "in 2 weeks" just before he said war would end in "2-3 weeks". He just plays the hits. Sounded like he just came from the oral surgeon, and the anesthesia hadn't fully worn off. Gave the normal tell of when a lie is upcoming (besides the obvious tell that he's lying which is his lips are moving), and the story of the families of the fallen soldiers saying "Sir, finish the job". Whenever he tells a story about someone addressing him as "sir" it is totally fabricated. One of the parents of one of the fallen already blew that story up a couple weeks ago. never happened.
    He sounds like an imbecile. The fact that there's still tens of millions of folks in this country who believe the BS he spews is very disquieting.
    When he was done, I yelled to the wife "clown show is over" and she came back and we finished watching Survivor.

    i think this is exactly what his advisors are telling him today. between lashouts about fake news and boycotting springsteen, they are telling him how awesome and powerful his speech was.

    I have to admit I don't listen to him blather on anymore either.  It's always the same thing- world salad, mumbling of a half brain-dead figurehead, aimless trajectory of random thoughts.  I'm glad there are people who can stomach following what he says, but to be honest, it's the puppet masters behind the screen that I'm mostly concerned with these days.
