It’s just the game now. But I get it, like only 10 artists make money from albums anymore.

I know. Any event seems expensive these days. Even going to a hockey or a football game is in that range.
EDIT: Gorillaz puts on a fine show and will be fun! I would pay $500 if Radiohead went back on tour.

Gorillaz were one of the first acts to start charging a lot for tickets several years ago.

I have no doubt that $500 will be the reasonable price to see them when something gets announced.

Got GA pair for the Boston show - going with the bro and super pumped! Have been listening to them for 25 years now since the Clint Eastwood song first came on the radio, but have never seen live. A bucket list act. The visuals will be amazing.

$390 after fees for the pair in GA. Not bad at all for an arena show in these insanely priced times.

Also paid $180 per for 200 level at MSG
waiting for box set to arrive to listen to the new album
saw them at The Apollo way back and Boston a few years ago - very lively shows and lots of fun. Worth the price, I believe!

I don't know if i'll ever get the chance to see blur, so I may as well finally see a Gorillaz show.

Been a casual fan for years, got GA in DC and looking forward to it. Seems I have a lot of albums to get caught up on (only know the first two).

25 years after its release, they just decide to bust it out on SNL. So awesome.

I might try and look for tix on stubhub closer to the show. They're playing at a venue I don't really like at all near me.

1st album I’ve really connected with my teen kids on. Their excitement over the release was infectious. They played it for their Grandma a couple nights ago and even she liked it. Pretty rare & special when an album can appeal to all generations like that.

I can totally see how this album can appeal to such diverse and different audiences! To me it’s a beautiful piece of art the emotional ride it takes me on I haven’t felt in years!

It's really fucking good. The opening instrumental/spoken word actually got me emotional.

Oh def there’s different parts of the album that totally get me emotional! The hardest thing is really tough for me thinking about my parents but I’m just in awe at the flow of this album!
