Jose it has always been that way, but money is green. And people take it. I cannot blame them for that. But at some point anyone with brain knows we do not need AR-15s with large count magazines available for any mentally challenged douchebag that walks into a gun store.

Exactly if you as a voter pull the lever for Republicans you are voting in favor of NRA legislation

I agree someone with mental problems does not need an AR-15 but we the people should still be allowed to own AR-15's.

I might not have a problem with assault weapons or AR-15s if there is licensing and registration

It just keeps happening. Over and over in our country. Its embarassing.
    It’s barely headline news anymore.
I admit that I'm desensitized to a point. It's kinda like traffic deaths. We have 40,000 per year in this country and it's impossible to treat them all as the tragedies they are. And we have kind of grown (for lack of a better word) to accept them. I think there's a parallel here.

The splash that Columbine made in the news was maybe top-10 in my life. Fourteen deaths is a big deal, but the real big deal was we were not used to seeing things of that caliber. Now? Fourteen deaths will still make the news but not nearly as overwhelmingly or for nearly as long.

The Austin story is three deaths...

i did not even see an article on it on my usual news pages. i saw a mention of it on a social media post and had to google it. crazy how that is not even a blip on the news pages anymore.
Maybe the news media has a threshold of let’s say anything over 5 deaths can it be considered newsworthy 🤷‍♂️
So yeah...not sure of the numbers, but three deaths is no longer seen as newsworthy outside of the local market of where it happens.

Target practice. Hunting if your local laws allow it. They really are fun to plink with. Also if "ze Germans" ever start fussing about.

i i i Is your cap button broken? I guess it is too much trouble to spell correctly. I believe this forum has been alive since 2003 after the old one was retired and PJ outsourced all of their social media and merch?  But anyway, it is the NRA lobby buying politicians that keeps us from having real gun control.
i joined 10c between vs and vitalogy and failed to renew until just before yield came out. it was the old synergy board back then with all the flash animated animals and shit. i have been posting on here since then, and this is how i have always posted. i am not going to deviate for you.

but republicans refuse to let us even research gun deaths. we just recently were able to start even tracking them as a public health issue.
