    He’s asked “what is next for Pearl Jam?”. Jill makes a surprising face, Eddie seems like he has a secret to tell. “There will be more music that’s for sure”. And then said the band has given him time to work on the EB stuff and that when they get back together it’s usually very quick.

    Well this conflicts somewhat with his previous comment about being together in the lab or whatever. Doesn’t sound like they have been together much based on this. Next year could be great though.

    I think the band’s break also gave Jeff the opportunity to focus on MPS. 

    MPS has a big year too, with Montana Grind being released and MPS reaching their skatepark goal. 

    It’s definitely a productive break for the members of the band on an individual level. 

    Now if we can manifest Jeff making a 5th EP that would be awesome. 

    IMO, American Death Squad 2.0 seems a great idea and much needed.

    Reading between the lines of this and the Rolling Stone piece, I think they have a drummer and have been writing. I wonder if the state of *gestures broadly at fuckin’ everything* has impacted that timetable à la U2, where writing and recording something timely is overriding whatever “announce the new guy and take him on the road” timetable they had when they went on hiatus

    Valid. I would imagine a lot of musicians are taking a break from the road and are writing. 2027/2028 could be a big year for concerts.

    My takeaway from the recent interviews with Ed is: absolutely no live PJ shows for the  foreseeable future. They're all out there doing their own stuff.

    I'm not sure Pearl Jam is about unnecessarily using natural resources...
