I've been looking for the hat but it's impossible to find in the wild. Just auctioned off on FB for hundreds of $$$$. Sigh.

Yeah shocked that purple one sold for $500 over on Facebook.  :o

If only Jeff knew these are flipping so much. Too bad he couldn't sell these online @ the 10club store.

If he sold them though the MPS website he could raise so much money for the organization. They do such great work.
MPS is reaching their goal in 2026, very exciting to see what they come up with next.

FYI Montana film fest streaming schedule is out and it’s geo blocked. Probably can’t buy a ticket to get access to the link without a US CC

I reached out to Dan, he wasn’t aware that there was geo blocking. He did say that they will put it on a streaming service, he doesn’t know which. He asked me where I was from and said Canada. Hopefully, he will keep that in mind with larger distribution happening.

Fingers crossed. I would like to see it on a streaming service, and physical media release.

Hey! If you find yourself in Montana this weekend, join us in supporting two films at Big Sky Documentary Film Festival that celebrate how skateboarding builds community, identity, and creativity for young people across Montana.
The films are deeply connected to Jeff and the Montana skate community, and feature those who’ve helped shape it over the years. MONTANA GRIND, directed by Dan Reis, captures a decade of skate culture across the state, focusing on a group of young Blackfeet skaters into adulthood; and PAVING THE WAY, directed by Keelan Williams, spotlights Indigenous youth on the Flathead Indian Reservation through the story of skater and artist Alishon Kelly.
Paving The Way premieres February 15 at 5:30pm at The Wilma (Missoula, MT)
Montana Grind screens February 18 at noon at the Roxy Theater (Missoula, MT)
Tickets available via Big Sky Documentary Film Festival. If you can’t make it to the screenings in-person there are virtual tickets available.
Montana Pool Service brings world-class skateparks to rural and isolated communities across Montana and the West, connecting youth through skateboarding and the arts. Learn more at montanapoolservice.com
    Much love to Jeff.

Special thanks to @officialament, not only for contributing with your priceless music and art, but for all the help you gave me through this past 12 years, to make this film be what it is, that is beyond credits.

As always, if it wasn’t for @montanapoolservice , @mtskateparkassociation and the people of the communities that made all the efforts for building those skateparks, Montana Grind would not exist.

I think that’s why he doesn’t have them on MPS site. He knows the merch goes crazy. He wants people who care and show up to their events. I don’t blame the guy

There were two documentaries connected to Jeff Ament and Montana Pool Service at this year’s Big Sky Documentary Festival in Missoula. It made us think of this sweet documentary short from a few years back, which features #JeffAment, Randy Katen, Chris Bacon and Andrew Kemmis, and gives a little background and info about the skatepark scene in Montana.
Shoutout to filmmaker Ben Buchta, Montana Skatepark Association and the amazing grassroots supporters dedicated to Montana parks! See some great shots of concrete artistry by Evergreen Skateparks , too.

Because of YOU, we hit the $100,000 mark. A HUGE thank you to Jeff Ament and Montana Pool Service for their incredible matching grant toward the Miles City Skatepark!

Jeff Ament, bassist of Pearl Jam, knows firsthand what it means to grow up in a small Montana town and need a place to skate. A Big Sandy native, he built his first skateboard ramp there back in 1976. Through his nonprofit Montana Pool Service, he has helped build more than 40 skateparks in rural and Native communities in Montana.

Jeff has said, “Growing up in a small town, two things helped form my young identity: music and skateboarding. I want to give young people a place to call their own where they can get outside with their friends and ride.” Jeff previously stated his vision is that no kid growing up in Montana should have to drive more than an hour to skate.

Over the past year, this community has shown up and helped us reach this match, especially during a time not many of us have money to spare and when every dollar counts.

The match brings us to $203,202 toward our $350,000 goal. Over halfway there, people.

And we’re going to let you in on a little secret… something else is brewing that we think is going to knock your boots off. We’re not quite ready to share it yet, but just know - Miles City has some mighty good friends in its corner. Stay tuned

In the meantime - if you’ve been on the fence about donating, NOW is the time. Every dollar gets us closer to breaking ground.
