They just need to get rid of the Pro Bowl at this point.  It's now a flag football game in a convention center??   Just give guys a bonus for being named a Pro Bowler.  My 9 year old was all excited to watch it and after 5 mins he says "they're not even trying, this is awful".  And he was right.  It was painful to watch.
Its awful.  I don't watch. It must be profitable for the NFL to keep doing it.

Sponsors, contracts, bonuses, and TV money. That is the NFL. Scary thing is how many people actually tune in.
I've never watched a pro bowl in it's entirety.  Watched a few minutes in my single digits and that was it.

I've seen more WNBA minutes than Pro Bowl minutes and that isn't saying much...

I find the WNBA unwatchable. And I grew up watching the UCONN women's team. Throw on the game, eat a sub, pizza, and some wings. It is still better than Nascar.
The hell u say!  NASCAR is a gaddam living treasure!  I love NASCAR.

Agreed about Womens UCONN. Tarasi to me, was the best to ever do it.

Here is the thing about NASCAR. The first ten laps are exciting, and so are the last ten laps. It is the in between that puts me to sleep. And it is mostly ovals. I have been to Pocono a few times, it is a fun day at the track. The races are long and the pit stops slow. I much prefer the Grand Prix in Austin.
The in between is what I do like now.  I enjoy the racing and the positioning.

Since they added stage points they made it a little more interesting so there is more "racing" throughout and not just long lulls in action.

There used to be 60 laps of blah until someone had a tire go down and a caution comes out to wake us all up.

    Give it another go.

It is not 60 laps it is 200. I do not hate NASCAR, but one of the things I love about F1 is the 2 hour time limit.

I understand the time limit though.  That is why Soccer is great.  You know you are out of there in 2 hours.
except soccer is a) not great and b) mystery stoppage time is about the dumbest thing ever.
id argue the Premier League having no playoffs is kind of dumb. That being said the World Cup is great. The rest of soccer, outside of the top Premier League and Champions League games, is as bad as women's basketball.

I literally am only interested in the numbers on my squares. Literally could not care less about the rest of it. But I do hope that Bud Light buys add space for the "other" halftime show.

I know. I seem to only know people that are of different political beliefs. They still make comments about being anti Bud Light. They wouldn't accept it even if it were free, or so they say. Every time I tell them "It's all good now, Kid Rock told you it's okay to drink it again."

No playoffs is literally the best thing about European soccer.

They do have knockout tourneys coinciding with the season.

Roger Craig was way overdue. First player to 1000/1000, integral player in multiple championships. Great to see him finally get in.

For the Boston fans, this doesn't feel like 2001 does it? I had a Mainer co-worker say this to me and I just don't see the comparison. I mean if you squint, I guess?

It would be not nearly as big of an upset. Also Drake Maye was already good before the season and not the backup 6th round pick.

I can rarely remember feeling such apathy about a Super Bowl. I want to hate Boston and root against the Patriots, but my heart's not really into it. I just really don't care.
