He has to eventually make it no?

I think hes borderline but the 2 SB wins is a big one.
His regular season W-L record is 117-117. If David Tyree doesn't have Stick'um on his helmet, we aren't even having a conversation about Eli and the HOF.
I'm out on Eli but he did shoulder some terrible Giants teams for a bit.

Eli and Bill will get in. It is just the HOF reminding you how important they are. No such thing as bad publicity. Just another private club stroking their egos.

Belichek can go to hell. Anyone who left him off their ballot, I'll take you out for dinner.
I like how people seem to be outraged he didn't make it on the 1st ballot.  Like they forget he got caught cheating and was a grade A ahole to pretty much everyone.   And he sucked without Brady.  So who cares he didn't get in on the 1st ballot.  he will get in eventually.
So then Brady won't make it 1st ballot then

That record thing is not all on him. Many many times the defense/special teams lost the game in the final minute. And the final 3 years didn't help with bad teams. And as you can see they haven't done anything the past 10. He was 108-97 before that.

Truth of the matter is that Eli was one of the most frustrating regular season NFL QBs to watch. So many bad decisions. But SB wins are SB wins. He deserves it. And there is the Manning factor which probably helps him a bit.

It's the Hall of Fame, not the Hall of statistics.
    His last name is Manning.
He is the MVP of 2 Superbowls.
He beat Brady/Belichick in both of them in dramatic fashion.
    He'll get in.

    108-97, wow!
Dude should have his own hall of fame built just for him. They can add on a Don Mattingly wing and the ticket sales will be epic.

He'll get in, but likely (and deservedly) by the veterans committee vote many years from now. Every year he is going to be up against many more deserving players in the regular voting. This year guys like Brees and Fitzgerald appear on the ballot. Next year you get Roethlisberger, Gronk, Adrian Peterson. 2028 will feature Brady and JJ Watt. 2029 will have Aaron Donald and Jason Kelce...lather rinse repeat. Every year a new crop of more deserving players will show up on the ballot.

I dont think Ben and Adrian get in first try either.  They had some character blemishes that should hold them back a bit.
Fitz and Breeze were Walter Payton winners so they should go in with no problems.

Peterson is 5th all time in rush yards and rush TDs.
Roethlisberger with 2 SB wins to match Eli had 7,000 more passing yds, 52 more TD passes 33 less INTs and a ,668 win pct to Eli's .500.
Both are waaaaaaayyyy more deserving than Eli.

Not that they aren't but one beat his kid with a stick and the other beat women.

Eli on the other hand is squeaky clean.

OMG showing your age! Jimmy the Greek, I forgot about that guy!

He must be rolling over right now with how much gambling is legal and in your face today.

I still miss Jayne Kennedy. And why did Brent Musburger go away?
I can remember Musberger and Madden. Madden was always amazing to me.

Some older ones I remember were Mel Allen, Scully and Chick Hearn
I’ll never forget Madden for this.
