They just need to get rid of the Pro Bowl at this point.  It's now a flag football game in a convention center??   Just give guys a bonus for being named a Pro Bowler.  My 9 year old was all excited to watch it and after 5 mins he says "they're not even trying, this is awful".  And he was right.  It was painful to watch.
It’s like high school gym class where athletes are put in the same class as non-athletes so they put the absolute minimal effort in but still make plays.

The 11 yr old liked it last year.
    Sad

Also, being a pro bowler is not very meaningful.
Shit door Sanders is a pro bowler this year

Its awful.  I don't watch. It must be profitable for the NFL to keep doing it.

Sponsors, contracts, bonuses, and TV money. That is the NFL. Scary thing is how many people actually tune in.

I've never watched a pro bowl in it's entirety.  Watched a few minutes in my single digits and that was it.

I've seen more WNBA minutes than Pro Bowl minutes and that isn't saying much...

I find the WNBA unwatchable. And I grew up watching the UCONN women's team. Throw on the game, eat a sub, pizza, and some wings. It is still better than Nascar.

I tried to give the WNBA a chance multiple times.  I can't.

Hopefully Miss Clark can get people to enjoy it.

    As for fundamentals?  Hmmm, nah.

Here is the thing about NASCAR. The first ten laps are exciting, and so are the last ten laps. It is the in between that puts me to sleep. And it is mostly ovals. I have been to Pocono a few times, it is a fun day at the track. The races are long and the pit stops slow. I much prefer the Grand Prix in Austin.

The in between is what I do like now.  I enjoy the racing and the positioning.

Since they added stage points they made it a little more interesting so there is more "racing" throughout and not just long lulls in action.

There used to be 60 laps of blah until someone had a tire go down and a caution comes out to wake us all up.

    Give it another go.

It is not 60 laps it is 200. I do not hate NASCAR, but one of the things I love about F1 is the 2 hour time limit.

If its PHX it would be 60, Brickyard would be 50.  The Coca Cola 600 is broken up into 4 100 lap stages. There hasn't been 200 laps of blah for years now...

I understand the time limit though.  That is why Soccer is great.  You know you are out of there in 2 hours.

When your team was it in last year and dominated it's hard to really get into this one this year.  I think Seattle wins fairly easily but hoping for at least an interesting game.

It is strange that the goal is large but the scores are so low. I do like that they do not stop for commercials.
