I have just gotten into this band in the last few days. I saw some music YouTubers talking about Skeleta last year when it came out and I listened to a couple of songs and decided it wasn't for me. Then a few days ago a video of their performance of Lachryma on Jimmy Fallon popped up in my YouTube feed and I watched it and thought it was a really good song. I checked out the studio version and felt that it was better live.

Then I started listening to Skeleta and the live album Rite Here Rite Now. I really loved the live album. I think they shine live and I actually prefer the live versions to the studio versions. I have started listening to the studio albums in reverse and I really love Impera. I'll definitely have to check them out live when they come back around to Texas.

I admit the theatrical stuff is not my thing. But I was a huge hair metal fan in the 80s so the songs that have that sound are my favorites. Current favorite song is Spillways.
So much better live.  The studio version sounds to Euro metal and overproduced.

    Stick to the live stuff.

I wish I had gotten into them last year then I could've seen them in Aug when they played here in Austin.

I found their first live album ("Ceremony and Devotion") to be stronger than their second. I also didn't like that concert film. But the Ghost "comedy" isn't for me.
