Denvers backup hasn't thrown a pass in the NFL SINCE 2023!?!?

    Is that correct?
remember Matt Flynn? he replaced wroggers in GB for one game….threw for 480 yards and 6 TD’s…..then signed a big deal with seattle, never to be heard from again.

it’s doubtful that will happen with stidham but there’s plenty of instances of “some dude” having an out of nowhere game.
    Jeff Hostettler anyone?  Nick Foles?
Big difference is both Hoss and BDN played a few games at the end of the regular season and the entire playoff run, they weren't asked to start the championship game after not having thrown a pass in anger for over 2 years.
    This weekend we rock Portland

I am kind of bummed and anxious that the Bills fired McDermott.  I thought he was a very solid coach who respected players and earned that respect back, which is valuable.  Very good win %.

However, I am happy I don't have to watch his soft zone defense every year come up small when it matters.  Small players who fit his system who fall into a wood chipper every season and they limp into the playoffs with practice squad elevations and street free agents.

That defense is what failed them in almost every single playoff loss.
I know that soft zone defense you speak of. It drives me crazy.

and Foles had started 36 games prior to his SB. stidham might find some magic, but I wouldn’t count on it.

Stick was nit good for football.  Only went to 1 niners game there but at least it was close to the city.
I used to go there for Giants games as a kid. Nothing too memorable about the stadium itself. The troughs in the restrooms naybe?
I never had a bad day at the Stick. Of course, I only went to Giants’ DAY games.

well, I did go to a FEW night games and they were fucking miserable.

Oh, I always had a great time. I just remember the stadium being big and concrete. Nothing fancy. That button is rad. I used to have a Will Clark button, but I'm not sure what happened to it.
Maybe I ended up with it? If it’s not here, it might be in one of my 18 other pin cases. 🤪

Pretty sure that's the one right there, although mine was not in the packaging. My uncle is a sports writer, and he got it for me when he interviewed Will Clark.

That is an incredible collection. My Grandma and Grandpa would've loved it. Especially the Willie Mays stuff. Willie Mays and the Giants are important parts of my life. My grandfather followed the Giants from New York to California so he could follow Willie Mays. It could be said, that I exist because of Willie Mays. Kinda crazy. You're a Giants fan, you may like this article that he wrote when Willie Mays died.

I read McCovey Chronicles all the time. That, and Around the Foghorn. I’m confused, though. Who wrote that article…your grandfather, your uncle, your dad, none of the above?

McDaniel removes himself from Browns HC contention to be OC for Chargers.

Yeah I wouldn't want that job either. Easier to get the job you want after being OC for a year than to go torpedo your career.
