Yeah, North Atlantic. They're blue before cooked. Sometimes black.
Pic is misleading- it isn't that big. I'm gonna take out the meat and use it in pasta.

Bottega Gabriel is a little Italian sandwich shop in Seattle’s Pioneer Square. I’m headed to the Seahawks game, so I decided to stop in. I decided to try a different sandwich than usual, and this is one of the most delicious things I’ve ever eaten. A perfect bite.

This is fresh focaccia with pancetta, burrata, slices of pecorino romano, walnuts, arugula, and balsamic. It’s incredible.

Tonight I kept it simple and made some potato & onion soup. I had a couple slices of pumpernickel as well.

    Classic Old school Italian dishes
Michael’s of Brooklyn. The best hands down

    chicken francese
    fettuccini garlic and oil
    chicken Marsala
sauteed string beans and roasted red potatoes

anyone anywhere close to Brooklyn should make it a point to eat here at least once. It’s a staple, family owned for over 60 years. Reservations a must, sometimes up to 3 weeks out.
