Slash on stage for Betterman? wow. I always get serious fomo when I see this crew play the Cap. I used to bartend there and would see some pretty sick shows, but not like this.

I really hope they don’t do a Ten anniversary tour because they pick Krusen, however it’s better than no shows and Eddie still slays Ten. I would much rather 30 years of No Code with Jack

If I'm reading my crystal ball right, I'm going to have a low bar for next year.

    Will they tour? Yes.
Will it be a big tour with a new album? Doubtful.

I think it's fair to expect something like 4-10 shows in the US and Canada just to get the new drummer's feet wet.

Of course, they could always surprise us.

But just like the mystery boxes/bags, if you expect a Benny and an autographed Kong, you'll be disappointed when you get a Record Store Day version of Dark Matter and a non-autographed McCreepy. (But hey, they promised one vinyl album and a poster.)

I'm just headed into next year expecting the bare minimum out of a band that knows they could play two shows in Seattle and know they don't have to play Vancouver or Portland because they could play wherever and get the UN of Pearl Jam fans to show up from three other continents.

Thanks for the call out!  Yeah I left early to beat traffic.  (Left after breath) School night, the two guys I went with were also teachers so we decided to leave early.  Not sure what that has to do with pearl Jam touring.  I ve left a lot of shows early for various reasons.  Life gets in the way sometimes, whether it be kids, work or sickness.
Side note: 2011 tour was absolute fire.

It was an unusual correlation, they don’t tour as much as their peers for the last ten years or so, despite what time we leave shows.

and iirc, that Camden 2022 show went nearly to midnight. at times, the band is just not in touch. Wednesday night, beginning of school year, and they keep fans waiting a long time to start and then play til midnight. The only bands I experience these weird waits to begin are Guns and PJ. How many times have we received tweets “hey be there on time we’re starting at 8.” And they start closer to 9.

Fwiw I left during RITFW that night. I love Neil and that song, just not as much when someone else sings it. And it’s nearly midnight in a venue that’s notorious for extremely long waits to exit. But yay, more covers please.

You know, if Mike goes on tour with his rock opera I'm game. The footage from last night at the Showbox is really exciting!
