    I hear this often. I think everyone realizes that, especially in a context like this, America is not referring to the Americas, but rather short for United States of America. Most often when I hear America being used, it's referring to USA and not the continents.

    The right has an easier time expressing their side of the story. This dude used to show apartment videos , then started showing local news, and their views went up 10x.

    Also “expressing their side of the story” generally means some racist shit and made up stories. 

    I’d like to see some facts that immigrants have made America worse.

    I reject that completely, and I hate the argument. People of the USA are Americans. Everyone else in North America are whatever they are (in my case, Canadian), and can also be called "North Americans". No Canadian would EVER refer to themselves as American, and I can't imagine anyone from any of the other N.A. countries would either. Nobody calls themselves Americans except for actual Americans. I truly don't understand why anyone would argue differently.
