    Interesting note about Mattingly. In 1995, he is prevented from getting to the World Series by losing in Game 5 of the Division Series in Seattle against a team with Dan Wilson and Edgar Martinez. In 2025, he gets to the World Series by beating the Mariners with Dan Wilson and Edgar Martinez as coaches and does it in Toronto where the Yankees clinched the only playoff berth of his playing career.
