    We named this one Sox.  I'm getting Sox a little more used to humans, as he will play with a cat wand toy and get within a few feet of me, but is still wary of people.  His (her?) sibling, Box, is a little more skittish.

    I was able to pet Sox a few times and both will play with a feather toy.  I think I will get Sox socialized but Box may be harder.

    Gotta help the kitties!  I got some heated shelters for the winter, but may need to expand the operation.  The two biggest kitten producers are the most leery of humans ... I tried to get one to the vet to get spayed, but she outsmarted me 3 times and was able to bite me through cut-resistant gloves.  We get along good now as long as she is hungry.

    Last month the woman who I got Lukin from found a litter of 4 kittens outside with no mother around. She is fostering them now. She knew I recently lost Daisy and reached out to see if I would want one of them. Lukin needs a new friend so I agreed to take the only female. The others are two black kittens and a seal point Siamese. She looks to be a lynx point Siamese, which is a mix of tabby and Siamese. She will get darker stripes as she gets older. Barring any health issues, she will be coming to me in early December. I think she is super cute and I hope she and Lukin become fast friends.
